Safari Zoning || Reina and Agate
flower-of-konohana:
Reina was enjoying the gentle breeze in the town. It felt a bit liberating in a way. She was considering sitting at a near by bench before she heard a voice call to her from the side. She turned around to see a woman, dressed as if she was ready to go out on a safari. This must be her contact.
âIndeed, I am Reina. It is a pleasure to meet youâŠâ Reinaâs thoughts trailed off for a second. What was her name again? It was a stone wasnât it? Opal? Diamond? Ruby? Pear? Quartz? No⊠it was more common than that. She just couldnât remember for the life of her. Then she thought she had a decent guess.
âAgate. Am I correct?â Reina asked gently raising a brow in her own uncertainty. âYou contacted me about aiding to set up a stable floral environment in the Safari Park right?â
âYep, thatâs me!â
She smiled, giving the woman an enthusiastic thumbs up. Her name wasnât common where she came from and had half expected Reina to not remember it, but was pleasantly surprised when she did.Â
âI did!â
Agate began to lead the way to the Safari Park, looking over her shoulder while she talked to make sure that the other woman was following her. It was a little ways of a walk and she wanted to make sure that her guest didnât lost along the way. Once they start getting into the heavily nature areas, everything can start looking the same if not familiar with the area.
âI have someone making a butterfly garden for me and now Iâm looking to have more flower patches throughout the park to help everything blend. I donât want only one large, random patch in the area, you know? I was hoping you would know some plants that donât require much additional attention and could possibly last year round.â
Since her main focus was the animals, she didnât want to be bothered with the extra chore of having to care for and seasonally change the plants. She wanted plants that could sustain themselves in the wild, which she knew they all could, but she also knew that there were plants that needed constant attention. She was no farmer and didnât have the time for that.
