literally cannot stress how happy this makes me, yknow, seeing some little ol' thought of mine absolutely blow up!!!! i wanna thank you all oso oso much <3

now!! how i fell inlove with the show. i originally found it through nowtv, and my first EVER episode i watched was turkey in a can. i remember this so distinctly as it was the first time i had ever heard of thanksgiving in full depth and i was just adoring the fact that there was an animated family on tv who wasn't overly dysfunctional? i went to school the next day and told all my friends about it, who couldnt care.

i think this spiralled into me watching every single episode until i managed to finish it relatively quickly but i thought this was normal. then season eight first aired.

i remember i recorded the episode so the moment i woke up on that weekend morning i literally sprinted to the living room tv to watch it, and just couldn't believe it. i think it went from there where i've managed to call the show a "special interest" of mine. easily one of the most cherished shows of mine in existence, i wouldn't trade it for the world.

its especially significant because i just loved the idea of the media not making another show where the family abuses one another in some form. i hope to feel loved like the belchers love one another

sooo yeah!! my best guess on when i first watched the show was maybe about spring 2017?! who knows at this stage, i just love bobs burgers

okay i have no demographics on how many of you have ALSO watched "friday night dinner" but i presume a slim amount considering a lot of the shows fanbase for bobs burgers is american whilst friday night dinner is more british.

anyway- i distinctly remember writing a while back, a whole entire ass fic on wattpad about the two. i think it was just so so niche that i took it down, because i expected it to blow up instantly :')))) but uhm good times??

do i regret deleting it?? not in the slightest. yet sometimes i wonder how all of those 10k words are holding up that little ali removed from the world :')

i think i aged down adam and jonny and moved them to seymours bay?????? it was just such a fever dream

Why Zekina and not Zina?

Glad you asked, phantom person that I use as a stand-in! Zināʾ (زِنَاء) or zinah (زِنًى or زِنًا) is an Islamic legal term referring to unlawful sexual intercourse. (Wikipedia)

I think it would be disrespectful towards islamic peoples believes to use it as a ship name as well as considering the meaning “unlawful sex” of all kinds… I don’t think it would be a good ship name.

Meanwhile Zekina is only a name and surname in a couple of countries, so basically free for grabs! Let’s go with that!
