I am honored that Peter Sidlauskas decided to use some of the animations and images I made in the concept promo for the official DC Shoes X Bronze 56k LUKODA collaboration shoe promo video. The film captured the 1972 benefit concert by the same name held at the Coliseum in Los Angeles, organized by Stax Records, commemorating the Watts Riots and how the black community stood up to police brutality. Wattstax fits well with FA because of the skateboard company’s strong support for multiculturalism.
