The Links became 1 once again, but then Vaati was later fiund hiding from place to place, he helped Ganon escaped the four sword sanctuary, and now Hyrule is in danger once again.
However, as the main continuation AU that features Vernon, Vaati and Ganon didnât ambush Hyrule yet.
The Links became 4 once again, and Shadow came out of hiding. They developed some PTSD since they went through their journey earlier and had to stomach what they experienced altogether. Memories got shared, Red and Vio are the most likely affected by it.

Red went into existencial crisis mode when he found out that Link, their whole, is bound to a never ending cycle of good vs Evil until something was able to disrupt it. The information drove him mad since he saw death over and over from the memories of the others. He found a book in a Hyrule History book about Linkâs appearances on the said timeline they are in. Hyrule never was save as it seems.
He was ambushed by a thief while he was trying to calm down by a lake, and swung his sword at the man who ambushed him. The only thing he heard was a loud thud that rolled on the floor, following by another one that sounded heavier.
Red felt numb, and his only reaction was a nervous laugh before hiding the body of the now dead thief. He kept having thoughts coming and going, and the dread of living with the guilt of what he had done was eating at his brain.
A month later, Shadow went to find Red, and found him covered in the blood of someone who went to bother him. Red only smiled to Shadow, but it wasnât the cute one that he used to make when seeing anyone.
Shadow in the past had bothered, poked and prod, shoved and teased Red without mercy while saying morbid things along the lines, until now Shadow felt a bit of fear for the safety of the rest of their crew. Red told Shadow to keep it a secret between the two of them, and if he caught Shadow saying anything to anyone, there could be a chance that Shadow wonât live another day.
Red was able to break the fourth wall, he can probably do worse with such power.
