I have been struggling with finishing a build, which is nothing new for me. This build isn’t even complete 😭 I have over 10 unfinished builds in my save, thinking about switching over to making townies until I find my flow again…. 🧘🏾♀️
When a UFO crashed into their diner during the summer of ‘89, Peewee Samson and Baby Ruth didn’t panic over the sinkhole it created. Instead, they turned it into an opportunity to save their struggling business.
A few question the legitimacy of the sinkhole and how the spacecraft managed to avoid damaging the diner, but most just enjoy the novelty of it all. Plus it helps that Baby is always there to offer a fresh slice of pie to silence any questions…
After releasing my first collection of UI-ish templates and widgets, I found myself making more during the process of editing my posts. I'd planned on keeping this one around the same size as the previous one, but the longer it took me to properly label and organize my layers, the more I added to the file. So now we're here at like 40-ish templates (and a few even have a hidden version).

Like my previous collection, I designed this to be a "workspace" or "canvas" from which you can just pull whatever template you need. Each template is labeled and organized into folders so you'll know exactly which layers you need for your screenshot.

hi guys, i'm PISCES (or ree) and i'm brand new to simblr. i want to use this blog to find other sims enthusiasts and just post silly little things about my game! i do have a v new youtube channel, and i'm trying to get out of my comfort zone by joining more social media in general. irl i'm v introverted, but online it's a lot easier for me to show my personality and connect with people, so i'm trying to get that little voice out of my head that always gives me doubts about interacting with others. i also don't know a lot of people in my personal life who care about/play sims, so i really want to make some friends who share the same passion that i do !!
a little backstory on me is that i'm a pastry chef; i've graduated from culinary school and i've been decorating cakes most of my life. i do work in a bakery and i do mostly wedding cakes and celebration cakes with my own business on the side. i'm (obviously) a pisces and v into birth charts, zodiac signs, architecture, tarot readings, spirituality, and learning about other cultures and people. i speak a two languages fluently, and i know enough of a couple others to get me around. i love travelling and i hope to do it a lot before i get too old. i've been playing the sims since i was in elementary school and the sims 2 is my hands down favourite iteration, sims 4 being a close seconds. my favourite colour is green. i love interior design and architecture as a hobby. i'm always watching content online or reading magazines or purchasing books about both, so it's natural that i'm really into building in the sims 4. i spend far more time building than anything else.
i can't wait to post world screenshots, build related content, gameplay snippets, and feed my cc addiction by doing a tonne of shopping around on here !!
i'd love to meet new people, be mutuals, and hope to have a lot of fun on here !!
Spice Market №1—a San Myshuno Shell by Moonwoodhollow.
San My is one of my favourite worlds and yet I've never shared any build I've built there before. With the new pack coming, I thought it was finally time to change this. I created this build with the new lot type of a combined residential/business in mind and created 4 apartment shells and 6 business/shop shells. I hope this lot inspires you to create the San Myshuno of your dreams!

So what do you get?
Spice Market №1 is a 30x30 lot best placed in San Myshuno in the Spice Market neighbourhood. The lot is currently set as a residential lot, but you could set it as a residential rental, or once the new pack comes out combine a residential lot with a business. The lot consists of 4 apartments; 3 of these apartments comprise two floors while one only has one floor, but a rooftop terrace. There are also 6 businesses/shops/cafés/restaurants/etc. shells. 2 of these are in the basement, while the others are all on the 1st floor and potentially have more floors. It's all up to you! I wanted to give you as much freedom as possible with the interior and let your creativity run wild!
Uses items from the following packs: looks best with almost all packs. But a tip: take a look at the build in the gallery and click on the packs to see the items I used from that pack, it might also look good with fewer packs.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I must admit I have no sentimental attachment to any of the original The Sims 4 townies. Truth to be told, after many years of clicking the New Game button, it's not even that I don't care about them.
They sometimes just annoy me.
So I don't care about the Goths and Landgraabs, I have no feelings about the Pancakes marriage and I really don't think the Altos are missing. Don Lothario got brutally deleted from my last save after the game assigned him to the Yoga Instructor job and I could not get rid of him and swap with my own Sim even with mods.
I honestly hate to look at all of the Windenburg townies, which is one of my favourite worlds. I'm also tired of giving them makeovers and as much as I love browsing the in-game Gallery, I prefer creating my own Sims.
Then there is the immersion breaking when Judith Ward comes to my backyard sale in Henford-on-Bagley to get a poor quality bear sculpture and Dina, Nina or Catrina are jogging casually in Moonwood Mill.
It's always the same. It's so overwhelming and underwhelming at the same time!
And so, after one last random annoyance and tedious work of deleting every Sim and every lot in game in every world the game has to offer, I got my blank canvas.
Is it overwhelming? Yes.
But also pretty exciting.
I will be posting my progress here to keep myself motivated and maybe one day, you will get immersed in my experience to make it your own.
excuse the long post, but I finally feel comfortable enough to share some of my own save file.
I've been feeling super inspired from @folkling, @oshinsimblr (their vanilla rotation, specifically), and @wolfxdreamersims. And after many months of fumbling around, scrapping ideas, and arguing with myself like I've got nothing better to do, I've finally settled in a direction.
It's not much, but here's a bit of a multi-purpose community lot. It'll be featuring a family friendly brunch spot, a laundromat with a potentially not-entirely-above-board daycare run by the sweetest old lady, a rundown gym, and a cozy (yet affordable) spa.
tons of work is to be done still, but I'm excited. more to come. 💌
I've often gone absolutely feral just trying to find one trait for editing. Unfortunately, a lot of icon packs are outdated, missing things, or are not labelled so you have to dig for them. What started as a simple folder quickly escalated and now I bring you the ultimate icon folder for traits, careers, aspirations, and more!
There are over 1000 images that I've carefully sorted, properly labelled for searching, and made sure to find the highest pixel size I could for each icon. The majority of which are 128 pixels, the ideal size for editing. The sizes of icons that available in the game are outside of my control, so some will be smaller.
