I painted this mural in my old high school, by a mere coincidence, they reached out to me for this project, not knowing i was once a student there.

this little building contains lockers for students and also an office for P.E. teachers

This is a small general goods’ store, that serves a village which resides on one of the mountains of the grand atlas mountains. Alongside other muralists, i was invited by Lions Club ENCG (Casablanca) to be part of their humanitarian caravan, which included a lot of renovations, painting of buildings, clearing of roads and mainly digging a much needed well in the center of the village. When i was painting this structure, the family that owned the “shop” always made sure i had a second breakfast, an afternoon coffee with walnuts, and sometimes a second lunch. So, I’m forever grateful for the generosity they have showed towards me, and I would also like to thank the whole team behind Lions Club for what they offered this village and for making me part of this.

The Rogue

this is created for a challenge called “ ramadan sketchbook” where the theme of the day is “coronavirus if it was a villain from comics/ anime”.

for me it’s a kid that has learnt he is immune to the virus, but still can carry it and contaminate others, he is fed up with all the virtual school classes and the quarantine restrictions, and now the brat has went rogue,stepping out of the house, taking off his mask and declaring war against his mom, and all humans.

London 2019 - Shubbak festival last week of June, and alongside local artists, we painted this mural in North kensigton, London. it’s a comic strip that tells a story that have been developed and inspired by two prior visits I had to the city. it’s a story that can be read in a loop, right to left, and left to right, each time changing positions of its protagonists and antagonists, bearing multiple interpretations and readings. a great job was done by the dedicated local artists : charlie, @bambookidd_ @flexwon @sabsdaoud @munaless @benz._.lenz @art_tkm and @kmtbruv. all this wouldn’t have been possible without @hideoutsydney @taghridita, all the voulenteers ( who painted too) and all the staff from @shubbakfestival. much love.
