It was a pleasant day, as far as days went. The sky was clear, though the sun wasnât so hot as to overheat those such as herself who preferred dark clothing. Even with finding it easier to find clothes that didnât clash when she was using magic as a disguise for her skin, Elphaba found it simpler to wear black. It tended to be less likely to stain. Just because she tended to use magic to disguise how she looked in most places, didnât mean she wanted to be running around in rags. So she kept her clothes as nice as she could, and occasionally accepted the offer to buy new ones.
In any case, she was alone at the park for once. Lucas was far too large for outings in places like this, and Aiden had wished to spend time with others. Much as she cared for the PokĂŠmon, it was nice to not have to worry about either of them for a change. She had enough friends to keep them safe and occupied, and they were plenty old enough to spend time on their own, besides.
Since it was a day that promised no rain, Elphaba was relaxing at one of Shibuyaâs parks. It was a nice enough place to spend time, and she had friends here. She was tucked under a tree, carefully eating a bluk berry with one hand, with a book held open against her lap with the other, when she happened to look up (it wouldnât do to completely lose track of her surroundings in public, after all) and noticed a familiar shock of hair.
She smiled, and waved Neku over. She was almost positive it was him in any case, though he looked a bit worse for wear. Was this the one she was most used to, even? Traveling like she did had made stranger things happen.
Hopefully he wouldnât mind sitting with her for a while. Quiet company while enjoying a treat would be nice. And if he felt like talking, that would be all right as well.
