character in general: Nami… Hmmm. I think I liked her more before the timeskip, honestly. I still like her, it just kinda feels like some of her best traits have been downplayed. how they play them: From what I’ve seen? Pretty nicely.the mun: Seems really nice from what I’ve seen. We just… still haven’t talked much for some reason. But the talking we have done was enjoyable.

“Did you know that you can tell a bone apart from a rock by licking it?" Ah, the joys of fossilized remains. Her tongue had touched the remnants of a fair amount of old civilizations throughout the years.

“One of the members of our crew is a shipwright. He, as well as some others from his island, built it after our old one became unusable. He might be willing to help you if you ask.” Franky was certainly a quick worker. If all she wanted was something small, he would have plenty of time to make it.
Robin giggled at the other’s statement. “It’s a lion, but you’re not the first to make that mistake.”
“You guys have a legit shipwright? Man, you’re lucky. We’ve got a guy that goes that stuff for us, but it’s not actually his job. He’s just the one that screws up the least whenever he tries fixin’ our ship.” The brunette cocked her head far to the side, lips turning down into a deep, wrinkled frown.
A lion. That obviously flower-like figurehead was a lion?
“But it totally looks like a flower? Has your shipwright never seen a lion before?”
“We were like that at first, too. Temporary fixes only work for so long before you need an expert to help, and if too much happens, it might be too late. Be nice to your ship and get her looked at by a professional when you can." Losing a well loved ship wasn't a pleasant experience.
Robin laughed again. "You know, I'm not actually sure. I should ask him sometime."

Robin reached down to put a hand on his shoulder and started to gently pull him into a sitting position. As soon as there was enough room, she bloomed two more arms behind him to help. When he was sitting upright, she shifted her grip, vanished the extra arms, and adjusted his pillow.
“That should help you stay sitting for now. Do you need anything else?”
“Thank you.” He choked on his gratitude and nearly coughed it up when his lungs rebelled, head only lifting an inch or so when she asked him if he needed anything. Both arms spread out for a second, pout still remaining. The sick cook was about to ask for a hug and the chance to snuggle into the woman, but he felt something wet leak from his nose and retracted the thought.
His arms folded under the blanket, head shaking. “No. I’m alright. I appreciate you coming in, Robin-chan. What’s on the tray…?”
"You're welcome." Robin gave one of his arms a gentle pat when they spread out. If he moved too much, the soup might spill.
"I made you some soup. It's not as nice as yours, but it's far less likely to kill you than something our captain would make. Hot broth is good for colds. And don't worry, I put the parts of the fish I don't know how to use in a safe place for you to make use of later." She didn’t want to waste food any more than Sanji did.

“Hm?” As much as she adored Chopper, Robin had found her mind unable to focus on what he was saying until he said her name. Maybe there was something in the air that put her mind in a state between a buzz and a fog.
“I’m sorry, Chopper, I’m having trouble focusing today. What were you saying?”
Part of him was miffed that she hadn’t been paying attention, but he felt more concern than annoyance. Stopping his steady pace and coming to stand before her, Chopper put a hoof to her knee. “Are you feeling alright? You’re not normally like this…”
Waving for her to come closer, he shed his blue backpack and flipped open the flap. “Does anything feel off? Are you hurt anywhere?”
Robin debated waving Chopper off with a smile, but she knew that wouldn't deter him for long. Besides, he only had her best interests at heart. She stopped when he did, and then knelt down to get closer to his level. "I'm not sure. I might just be tired." Though if he were to check, she was much warmer than usual.

“You’re welcome. Someone needs to teach him a lesson before he’s stuck in deep water,” and Robin knew better than most how many Dark witches and wizards shared his views, and how hard it could be to get away from those people, “and I’m determined to try. At least with the students in my class. Keep standing up for yourself as much as you can, but don’t forget that we’re supposed to help students. Don’t be afraid to ask.”
{/Granted Nicole wasn’t even in her class. So it was going to be a little weird and hard for her find her let alone ask her for help should she need it. Still, the offer was greatly appreciated.}
“See, I tried ta teach him a lesson back when we were firs’ years? An’ uhh…well…I go’ like four weeks o’ detention fer i’. Apparen’ly fightin’ wi’ fis’s is jus’ as bad as unapproved duels here. Bu’…I’ll try an’ remember ta ask fer help nex’ time.” {/Nicole was not proud of that moment. More so that she got caught and that he ratted her out like a little bitch because he couldn’t take a hit, but still she didn’t regret hitting him for it.}
Robin may have been a professor, but she still giggled at the admission. "I think I remember hearing that story. You're far from the only muggleborn to do such a thing, but it's rare enough that word still gets around." The walls may not talk at Hogwarts, but the pictures certainly did. Robin had been making use of their information network since she was a student herself.
Robin leaned forward conspiratorially. "Just remember that you're seldom alone at this school. Help is often only a call away." The other professors might not notice, but she tried to help when she could. Even if helping meant turning a blind eye to rule breaking on account of self defense.
Maybe she could hide here. She just had to be quiet and no one would find her. She could get food somehow. Robin knew how to take care of herself. She just needed to stay away from people. People would just turn her in.
Oh! It looked like someone around her age was already here. He didn’t look like he could handle the weather well. It was warmer than Robin liked it, but it was summer, so there wasn’t much she could do. What was he wearing though? Robin hid behind a tree and sat down. Should she leave? Would he tell his parents if he saw her? The other kids at home had never liked her.
Maybe if she watched and stayed out of sight, she’d be okay. Robin closed her eyes, and an eye an ear appeared near the boy in a place that he probably wouldn’t notice.
Stupid heat, stupid… he couldn’t finish that thought. He flinched when he tried to. He just had to get the information he needed and go. Level of monsters, if there were any, government structure, things like that. (He hardly understood government anyway, he only really got the concept of kings and stuff.) And layout. He didn’t like this place. There were no proper ice cream shops, and a handful of places to find food at all. There was some kind of military and places with lots of shouting. He didn’t like this world. At all.
One of the Floods skittered over, slowly emerging from the ground. “…Anything good?” The Flood shook its head. He didn’t have to speak to it out lout, but he liked to sometimes. He listened to it, though, he always did. “Boats and shouting… anything else?” The Flood shook its head. Another Flood emerged from around a corner, carrying a large loaf of bread in its (jagged, somewhat creepy) mouth. Vanitas’ stomach rumbled loudly and he snatched the bread, biting a large chunk off without questioning it. This world sucked, he was leaving as soon as the rest of the Floods finished exploring. But at least he had food now.
When something started rising out of the ground near the boy, Robin gasped. It was so cute! The boy was talking to it, and while she couldn't hear anything, he seemed to understand it. Was he playing pretend, or did he have a Devil Fruit too? Robin had never seen anything like the strange creature before though, so maybe that had something to do with it.
Oh! There was another one! And this one had food! Robin's stomach growled in tandem with the boy's, but at least he had bread. Maybe if she asked nicely, he would share?
She debated it for a while, but seeing the loaf get smaller and smaller while she got hungrier and hungrier made her choice for her. She got rid of what she had used to spy on him, then slowly left her hiding place.
"Do you think I could have some?" Her question was punctuated with another growl from her stomach, and she clutched it tightly. When was the last time she had eaten?

“What’s that you have there?” Robin looked over at the girl’s prize. She was merely curious, and could get a better look at any time, but it was generally polite to ask first.
“NOTHING.” A swift hand quickly threw more algae over the already green-ish egg. Her plan was to cover it up enough so that the older woman would confuse it with a strange rock from the sea. She didn’t want anyone to know, because they would take the egg away! “ J-just a rock. And some barnacles”
"If you're sure." It quite obviously wasn't nothing, but it seemed harmless enough for the time being, so she wouldn't pry. It looked rather like an egg, but Robin wasn't going to judge the girl for bringing such a thing on board. "If you need any help with your rock, just ask." A twist of her wrist, and an arm blossomed from Annie's shoulder to brush some hair behind the girl's ear. "I'm better at moving things than I look."

Now she won’t definitely reveal the location of the sea king egg she’s found on the bay. She will have to protect the egg alone. NO ONE CAN BE TRUSTED

Sanji looked tired. Even after hours of studying in a safe environment, Robin made sure to notice things. She never completely let her guard down, even here. If he wanted to talk about it, she would listen. He didn’t normally have that much trouble, and she wondered how long he had been waiting as she walked to and alcove of books and sat down. She beckoned him over.
“I have my O.W.L.s this year. We don’t have every book up here.” Even if it wasn’t her entire reasoning, it was reason enough. The way she kept a hand on one of the shelves, fingers resting lovingly on spines, was a hint to the observant.
“How long were you out there?”
He dragged himself behind her, the sleeve of his robes rubbing at his tired eyes. The small, cushioned bench in front of the alcove was cluttered with books, papers and even an abandoned broom, but they were gathered up and set aside so the exhausted blond would stretch out across the soft, blue seat. His long legs poked out over the curled end, but it felt nice to have his legs draped over it while his head remained propped up.
“Oh, yeah. I keep forgetting you’re a fifth year.” Arms propped behind his head, Sanji peered up at the starry mural painted on the ceiling. He absentmindedly began to count the larger ones while still lending Robin the majority of his attention. “Two hours.”
He said it so openly, but he was sure she was the only one that could hear him from where he sat. “Would have been longer, but I stopped by the kitchen after potions. So you’re studying for your O.W.L.s? A brilliant woman like you is going to have no trouble passing.”
That was a long time to be waiting. Robin hadn’t had those sorts of trouble getting into the common room in a long time.
She was lucky one of the prefects would always check the door before bed; it had saved her from having to sleep in the cold at least once. Not every riddle was easy for her.
“Even I have to study, Sanji. It doesn’t matter how smart you are, it’s a good habit. Was anything interesting going on in the kitchen?”

“Hm?” Robin turned towards the sound of someone calling out. She walked closer. “The Sunny? I live there, yes. Why do you ask?” She had a bit of time to talk, though she did want to see if she could find anything of interest on this island. They weren’t planning on staying for long, but such plans often went awry in the Grand Line.
“Where’ja get it? Who built it?” Her eyes returned to the brightly colored ship, her face lighting up. “I want one like it! My captain’s been tellin’ me that people are starting to complain about my messes, so I was thinkin’ about getting my own ship! You know, one that can follow behind theirs. One that ain’t got any rules and is MINE all MINE.”
She flashed the taller woman a giddy grin. “Except mine would have a bear on it, not a weird flower.”

“The real question is: do you want it cut?” Robin held out a hand for the scissors. “Because you shouldn’t cut it yourself if you have someone who can do it for you.”
“—–…Ah…!! Aunt Robin…! Ummm… Well, to be honest, i don´t really want to…cut it, i kind of feel like, if i cut it, a part of me will be gone—- it sounds a bit “stupid” don´t you think…? Yet, i have this haircut since a long time now…”
Goshiki spoke up as he took a lock of his hair and stared at it for some few seconds. Afterall, Goshiki felt that if he went to cut his hair off, it would give his childhood bullies a somehow “victory” over him, the future ace remembered how many times he got BULLIED over his hairstyle, yet he had NEVER cutted off differently, he wanted to prove that it was POSSIBLE to not succumb over people´s thoughts, that it was possible to do things or wear things no matter people´s opinions as long as it made you feel happy, yet, as a teenager, these insecurities were starting to show off at incredible speed, only resulting into Goshiki feeling rather insecure over his CONFIDENCE.
“It’s not stupid. A lot can be said with a haircut,” whether it was letting it grow out or actually cutting it, “and if you don’t want to change it, you don’t have to. The choice is up to you, I’m just offering to help if you want it changed.” Robin wasn’t going to judge his choices. There were far worse ones that could be made, and hair grew and could change. The same couldn’t be said of all choices.
"Why are you thinking about cutting it?"
