anyway going back to Pacific Rim, Jaeger pilots must go absolutely nuts for Pictionary. its a competitive sport to them, every time you get a group of pilots together for games night they're locked in an intense battle to see which team can be the most drift compatible. very serious business.

Sometimes I sit and think about Hitting On 16's "Tubbo was wrong. The tables rolled the farthest." Because it's such a gutpunch of a line. That one line is saying "Tubbo can use his good judgement as much as he wants, and he can warn his loved ones of imminent danger as much as he wants, and he can logic his way through every problem that arises, only ever taking the safest possible route, but it still won't work out for him. Tubbo's reasoning is sound and if he explained his choices to you you'd agree with him, but he's always wrong, and he's always punished for it. If there is an opportunity for him to lose, he will lose."

I finally have some free time to write about the new Guided Evolution chapter (which I read during lunch... this seems to be a trend)

Anyways. I would just like to say that I wish I could punch Dream. Would I get instantly destroyed afterwards? Yes. Would I die satisfied? Also yes.

It’s just. The way Dream treats and manipulates Tommy just makes me want to scream because as the reader I know Dream is bad and has bad intentions, but Tommy has no reason to mistrust him. Right now Dream is just Tommy’s Poor Stressed Brother :( Also! Knowing this is how Dream treated Eight for nearly a YEAR is absolutely heartbreaking.

Speaking of Eight I was actually rereading the chapter he shows up in and the fact that he doesn’t respond to ‘Tommy’ because he’s been called ‘Thesus’ for a year is just... tragic. But Eight and Tommy are also different, Eight didn’t get the help he needed and Tommy did (kinda, he was trying), and, does Eight have slightly different powers? In ch 60 it said that when Eight touched Karl it “[made] the hairs on The Keeper’s arms raise with static”, which is... interesting. Does Eight have electricity powers like Miles Morales? Am I overthinking things again? Is there a 3rd option I’m too tired to see? These are all valid possibilities.

Moving onto a completely different subject now, I really hope Quackity gets a redemption arc because. He cares about Tommy and his students SO MUCH, and I feel like he’s not going to take the news that Automata killed/ revived Spider-Man very well, ESPECIALLY if he find out that Tommy was actually Spider-Man all along. I just think it would be fascinating to see how he reacts. (I also kinda want a Fundy redemption, but that’s just cause I’m always biased towards c!Fundy lol)

Speaking of reactions, how is Ranboo going to react?!! Or Schlatt! (I bet he’s going to try and claim Spider-Man has abandoned them or something. god I hate GE!Schlatt). I’m especially interested in how Wilbur is going to respond, both if everyone else reveals Tommy’s identity or not.

All in all I have no clue where this arc is going and I am VERY excited (and also afraid because angst hurts my soul, but it’s fine)

op you got me thinking... hasn’t moosh mentioned before that ge!Tommy gets more powers later on, but the way he gets them is... painful? so it would make sense that, due to all the experiments dream wants to make on him, he gets some kind of new powers?

498 is Tommy after being in dream’s grasp for almost (?) a year. it’s very probable that he has those powers because of it.
