nobody talks about magnus jaeren enough. that man was tricked by the gods and they don't even care. they don't even care that he put all of his trust into Sycharos, only for Sycharos to LAUGH as Magnus was impaled by Ilya's first vessel. the gods act like mortal lives are unthinking. they hardly even care for their own chosen. the worst part is that mortals only realize that the gods never fucking cared when they died.
