we aren’t doing enough arts and crafts in this world I’m telling you
I tried using Bar Keeper’s Friend to take the screen printing off of an eyeshadow palette that I finished. It worked with a lot of scrubbing with q-tips! lol
Now I have a cute palette I can refill! Ha Za!
I’m painting on tumblr live right now if you’re on mobile and want to watch :)
it’s finished!! I need to wait for it to dry so I can take the tape off and get final pics
Omg that is gorgeous
@nickyvmlp I was going to wait until your birthday this summer but I am too excited. I re-did your commission on the computer! :)
Someone recently liked this.. Kind of awkward cause Nicky and I are no longer friends. Not enemies but still.. lol Thanks anyway stranger.
Finally drew something again. Used mostly used Prismacolor colored pencils. Used a few Sivo Vivids as well.
cursed emojis that no one asked for but I don’t care
free to use!
I have an addiction.
free to use!
who needs coherent words when you have cursed emojis
free to use!!!
I’m tempted to make clay pins inspired by these..
Finally did the craft part of my username. lol
They are pins that I’m going to wear on my work vest. :)
Finally started working on Holiday cards yesterday and this morning. I had to refill one of my Copics for one of them.. Worth it? I think so! It’s so frosty blue!* I just need to add snow flakes/dots and the Main piece. :)
* Will post a pic when it’s finished. Can’t wait to show you all.
Another cute stamp! :) Who wants a card made with him on it?
I bought a bunch of block crafting stamps for $20 from a local thridft store ( not a chain ). There were so many old school Xmas ones! Whoot! Also there were 11 that were of a brabd that the card crafters that I watch a lot use . However there were from their older collections from 1996-2002 ( I don’t think they make them, least not as block stamps anymore).
Btw here’s one of the okd style that I find to be extremely cute!
Person: I have a degree in this
Me: and yet you're somehow still wrong
Mood
I have a degree in nothing.. Lol
Jack of all trades, master of none, but better than the master of one.
This makes me feel better. Since that is the type of artist/crafter I am. lol
Indeed. Now show art!!
I do on this blog silly.
This was fun to make. It’s for greeting cards. Photos can’t do it justice.
I need to waste money or I'll die
Want an art commission? Only asking cause I’m trying to raise money to get my bf’s tooth fixed..
Did an art trade and made this for my half. @aeon-of-dreams and his girl.
this site is so full of so many wonderful and talented artists
if only the pictures would load
Well no wonder I never get any likes..
This is really nice work…….. via Art LOVER
THAT’S how you make lace??
And THIS is why lace was a worn primarily by royalty and aristocracy for so many centuries.. It was expensive and time-consuming to produce. Wearing it, and wearing LOTS of it was a blatant show of wealth and excessive consumption.
Mechanically-produced lace wasn’t really a thing until well into the 20th century, but there remains a wide gap between the quality of mass-produced and hand crafted
In general textile arts are highly underated considering the amount of skill and time needed to execute pretty much anything.
I am always amazed by the people that do this and somehow keep all those threads from tangling!
@the-mighty-birdy
Finally a craft I never want to get into!
