I repeatedly turned up to d&d sessions with an entire loaf of jalepeno and cheddar sourdough and a regular sized tub of butter
Bruh my brother is in hospital again. Can this child please have a month of good health
Its the cryptid's birthday soon and i am suffering because i got him a really cool gift and i cant share that with him for obvious reasons
Its so fucking cute tho
And i want him to have it nowwww
Ok. What you're gonna want to do is chop up a cucumber and put it in a bowl. Then you're gonna sprinkle a generous portion of salt on top. Then you're gonna drizzle them with a balsamic vinaigrette and gently shake to combine, leaving you with a cool and refreshing summer snack. In 15 seconds dangerous and burly men are going to drag me away to an unknown second location. Remember everything I've taught you. I love you

Okay so it turns out a “sword sage” rises in the hierarchy based on how many apprentices they recruit and how many novices those apprentices take on. They don’t ascend through meditation and endless repetition of the blade forms, they don’t even decide ranking through a grand tournament or anything. But they do say the people on the top get access to ancient sacred swords and scrolls of divine insight, which is a grave injustice against noble hearted warriors who seek mastery of the blade arts. As a true dedicated disciple of the blade, it falls on me to topple this corrupt pyramid, and that’s why I need you to join my righteous cause and become my apprentice
You are truly wise and noble of heart to join my cause. But you must know that two swords are not enough to strike down a foe this vile. What we need is strength in numbers. Thus I beseech you; go out and recruit disciples of your own, then return to me and I will teach you all the techniques I have mastered thus far. Together we will bring justice to all disciples of the blade who have been kept from true mastery by the corruption at the core of this multi-level monastic order
"‘mech pilots are horny because they get sweaty and fuck after the fights’ you pedestrian, mech pilots are horny because the neural feedback loop from striking an acquired target w/ +90% accuracy on a full flight of LRMs makes most pilots leak in their seat. It’s not about two pilots, separated by mountains of metal, learning to mutually respect the others skill it’s about how these industrial war machines have direct lines into their nervous systems and an oxytocin & dopamine tap directly linking destruction to pleasure."

yeah sure i'll permanently attach that addition to this image
Strange haunted photo where Winifred looks like she's a painting
I have placed her in a more fitting setting
For the first time in my tenure on tumblr, it's "THAT'S A PHOTOGRAPH?" and not "THAT'S AN OIL PAINTING?"
avoidance is lowkey funny because it’s like i don’t want love on the off chance that it gets taken away from me and then i have to become john wick or something
we’re all on the only social media that matters and this is why.
writing is a fantastic hobby but the kicker is it's a lot harder to show your friends as it's progressing. with a sketch i can show someone and they'll be like oh that's an apple. you can't do that with words until you get a lot of them down. so i'll just be like damn fuckin. uhh. check this out
that's right. and that's just one of the several words i know
we've sent 2,500 senior dogs to a six week Javascript bootcamp using the funds we raised from our ransomware operation. and that's just the beginning. starting next month every fruit will be different
Love the new Anthropic AI ad that’s like “People have lots of questions about AI. Is it safe? Can it be used to harm us? Will it take all of the jobs? Will it make everything worse? Do we even need it? These are all good questions! Keep asking questions, questions are good.”
Like ok the fact that you didn’t actually have an answer to any of those feels a bit concerning and uh. Does not make me want to go run and use AI
It also opens with a video of a burning building
time to make a post on tumblr. surely no one will interpret it to be as offensive and bad intentioned as possible.
by talos this cant be happening
Remembered the end of Good Fortune where Seth Rogen turns to camera and goes "hey fellow rich people, if we don't sort out our shit the poor will come and kill us all"
Every morning, the queen asked her magic mirror to show her the most beautiful person in the world.
The mirror replied "To whom?"
"The miller who made the flour for my bread," the queen would say, or "Whoever spun the thread my shawl was made of".
The mirror would show her, and she'd be amazed.
The first time, she says "To me," and the mirror dutifully shows her her reflection. And she is pleased.
The second time, she says "To the King," and she is pleased to see herself once more.
The third time, she says "To the Royal Advisor," and is once more satisfied to see herself.
The fourth time, she says "To the scribe who takes the King's letters." She is shown the man's wife. And she seethes, but quiets herself, for it is only right that a man loves his wife.
The fifth time, she says "To the Court Wizard," and is shown the man's departed mother as he remembers her from his youth, radiant and smiling and warm and larger than life.
The tenth time, she says "To the Stable Master," and is shown the fastest horse in the stable, majestic and free as the wind even in captivity
"To the baker," she is shown the man's daughter, young and adorable and full of joy and laughter.
"To the artist who did my portrait," she is shown a painting of a woman done by the man's teacher, who he still looks up to now that he is well established himself.
"To the Royal Knight," she is surprised but not displeased to see the castle's entire guard force in the middle of doing drills.
The one hundredth time she asks the mirror, and it asks her "to whom?" she once again says, "To me." And she does the same the one hundred and second, and again and again and again.
It is a different person each time, and they are all beautiful.
A German regional court has ruled that Google is directly liable for the content of its AI search overviews. According to the court, previou
Let’s fucking go
This is HUGE.
1. The court holds Google responsible for statements made by its AI, considering them Google's statements (search engines have limited liability for results in their engine as they're the words of other sites/companies/people), meaning when their AI lies/hallucinates they're liable for the defamation/harm resulting from those statements.
2. Google's defense that customers are generally aware of the lack of reliability and are responsible for fact checking was dismissed. As the court pointed out, that would "significantly diminish" AI Search's stated purpose and it can't be distinguished from Google's business practices/statements as a search tool.
3. Studies have found about 91% of Google's everyday AI responses are accurate, leaving millions of searches per HOUR with potential liability for falsehoods. 56% of correct responses weren't supported by the sources the AI listed. Both of which mean Google is now liable for a LOT more AI "errors."
4. Google was held liable for 80% of court costs in this case and this precedent is expected to reverberate around the world. This is a massive shift from the 3rd-party search provider role Google has previously played and it comes right as they've tied ALL searches to their AI search.
TL;DR Google reeeeeally stepped in it this time.
