Anyone want a starter for World of Darkness AU Liesel? Been wanting to rp some vampires for a bit.
Send "â" for our muses to switch bodies.
đ° Would you please reblog this if youâre open to RPing with sideblogs?
There are rp blogs out there that donât want personal blogs to follow them and like their posts even though those often have rp sideblogs. It would be a shame to ignore those just because they arenât their main blogs. Please be so kind to reblog this post so that people with sideblogs know they are welcome. Thank you.

âOwn purpose? A self-given purpose.â Stars! She shudders at the thought. Imagine, having to find your own way! No comfort of knowing for sure what is to come, to not know your significance no matter how little it was.
âAnd they chose to judge others? Bah.â What a backward world. A mere peek at this new environment is enough to have 14D scurrying back into the back to what is familiar. âThis is ridiculous. Iâm surprised their small minds survived this long.â
âItâs strange, yes, but itâs still quite a change of pace. The woman who cares for me says that she can no longer fulfill her purpose due to her age.â She looked down for a moment before returning her gaze to Zircon.Â
âHumans are strange creatures but perhaps would be just as welcoming to even you.â She had not meant her final comment to be biting but there it was.Â

Oh. Well. Okay. 14D guessed she couldnât really argue against that. Because, well. 14D really didnât have something to argue against that.
At the mention of the word purpose, 14D hums. Yes. Purpose. Each and every single gem, creating with a task in mind, all serving that purpose until the light went out in their gem. Or got shattered. Or got replaced. Whatever.
âIndeed we are. Well, I suppose a purpose is better than no purpose. No matter how divergent it may from our task, itâs some driving force.â She would have said she couldnât imagine a life without a purpose, yet here she was. âAnd do you know of any other purpose that can be served on this planet?â
The Spinel tapped her fingers on the bookâs cover, her brow furrowed in thought. While this world didnât appear as orderly and strict as Homeworld, humans still had their own purposes to fulfill. Though some were less optimistic about them than others. But that was another matter.
âAll humans seem to serve their own purpose. Even some have the same job as you. Though here, they use other humans with a clear conscious to judge other humanâs actions.â Liesel looked up to 14D with her clear glassy gaze, âDoes that not sound odd?â

âKind.â And what purpose did kindness serve? All kindess is⌠A waste of a time and emotions. âAnd exactly why is that?â Why waste time like that? âYou sure she did not treat you with kindness because she wants something from you?â
âIâd hate for you to be used, after all.â
âShe cannot see well...much like myself. I donât even think she knew I wasnât human. I doubt she still does.â Liesel answered, her voice low. She appeared concerned about various thoughts of her own.Â
âThe most she needs of me is to help her about the home, offering whatever assistance I can give. It makes me feel like I have a purpose here as I would on Homeworld.â She paused, looking to the Zircon. âIs that not what we are meant for? To serve a purpose?âÂ

âŚÂ Desolate rock. Right. She should agree, yet⌠14D could not deny the fact that despite how much she HATED this planet⌠It wasâŚÂ thriving. Desolate would not be the right word. At the Spinelâs question, 14D just picks up a âbukâ and stares at it. Her grip on it is tight, so tight she leaves marks on the cover. She swallows.
âMy reason is classified.â Her teeth gnash. âBut⌠But know that I do not⌠Intend to bring harm to this planet.â
Liesel smiled softly to herself at 14Dâs comment. While it was never uncommon for Homeworld to simply dispose of those it did not see fit to serve, for a Zircon it was different. From what her memory served, they were fairly important on the food chain. What could one Possibly do to be exiled?
Disobey a Diamond of course. But such questions were for later of course.
âThatâs good. Perhaps youâll be able to see just how kind humans can be. At least how kind the woman I stay with is, anyway.â
âThereâs a lot you can learn from the pages of a book.â

She did NOT enjoy this at all. Oh, she was so tempted to just snatch her hand away. But if this was for learning purposes, then⌠She would have to bear with it.
As the spinel gently drags 14Dâs fingers across the symbols, 14D does admit that it was rather useful ⌠Now, even this defect would be able to read her some things. HmmâŚ
âAccepting of defects. Pfeh.â Whatever. Who cared about the customs of the little organics? At the mentions of Diamonds, she does look up from the symbols. âHow long have you even been here?â
Upon finishing the reading, Liesel let go of Zirconâs hand. Going back to her own book, she merely let the words of aggression pass over her.
âIâve been upon this planet for two cycles now. I was removed from my position hardly a day after I was brought to Homeworld. Without vision, I was useless to them and thus brought here. It was comforting to know I could find refuge here but I miss my Diamond more than I could put into words.â The Spinel closed the book before placing it back into the shelf.
âBut what brings you to this desolate little rock?â
