Anyone want a starter for World of Darkness AU Liesel? Been wanting to rp some vampires for a bit.
Send "↔" for our muses to switch bodies.
🔰 Would you please reblog this if you’re open to RPing with sideblogs?
There are rp blogs out there that don’t want personal blogs to follow them and like their posts even though those often have rp sideblogs. It would be a shame to ignore those just because they aren’t their main blogs. Please be so kind to reblog this post so that people with sideblogs know they are welcome. Thank you.

“Own purpose? A self-given purpose.” Stars! She shudders at the thought. Imagine, having to find your own way! No comfort of knowing for sure what is to come, to not know your significance no matter how little it was.
“And they chose to judge others? Bah.” What a backward world. A mere peek at this new environment is enough to have 14D scurrying back into the back to what is familiar. “This is ridiculous. I’m surprised their small minds survived this long.”
“It’s strange, yes, but it’s still quite a change of pace. The woman who cares for me says that she can no longer fulfill her purpose due to her age.” She looked down for a moment before returning her gaze to Zircon.
“Humans are strange creatures but perhaps would be just as welcoming to even you.” She had not meant her final comment to be biting but there it was.

Oh. Well. Okay. 14D guessed she couldn’t really argue against that. Because, well. 14D really didn’t have something to argue against that.
At the mention of the word purpose, 14D hums. Yes. Purpose. Each and every single gem, creating with a task in mind, all serving that purpose until the light went out in their gem. Or got shattered. Or got replaced. Whatever.
“Indeed we are. Well, I suppose a purpose is better than no purpose. No matter how divergent it may from our task, it’s some driving force.” She would have said she couldn’t imagine a life without a purpose, yet here she was. “And do you know of any other purpose that can be served on this planet?”
The Spinel tapped her fingers on the book’s cover, her brow furrowed in thought. While this world didn’t appear as orderly and strict as Homeworld, humans still had their own purposes to fulfill. Though some were less optimistic about them than others. But that was another matter.
“All humans seem to serve their own purpose. Even some have the same job as you. Though here, they use other humans with a clear conscious to judge other human’s actions.” Liesel looked up to 14D with her clear glassy gaze, “Does that not sound odd?”

“Kind.” And what purpose did kindness serve? All kindess is… A waste of a time and emotions. “And exactly why is that?” Why waste time like that? “You sure she did not treat you with kindness because she wants something from you?”
“I’d hate for you to be used, after all.”
“She cannot see well...much like myself. I don’t even think she knew I wasn’t human. I doubt she still does.” Liesel answered, her voice low. She appeared concerned about various thoughts of her own.
“The most she needs of me is to help her about the home, offering whatever assistance I can give. It makes me feel like I have a purpose here as I would on Homeworld.” She paused, looking to the Zircon. “Is that not what we are meant for? To serve a purpose?”

… Desolate rock. Right. She should agree, yet… 14D could not deny the fact that despite how much she HATED this planet… It was… thriving. Desolate would not be the right word. At the Spinel’s question, 14D just picks up a ‘buk’ and stares at it. Her grip on it is tight, so tight she leaves marks on the cover. She swallows.
“My reason is classified.” Her teeth gnash. “But… But know that I do not… Intend to bring harm to this planet.”
Liesel smiled softly to herself at 14D’s comment. While it was never uncommon for Homeworld to simply dispose of those it did not see fit to serve, for a Zircon it was different. From what her memory served, they were fairly important on the food chain. What could one Possibly do to be exiled?
Disobey a Diamond of course. But such questions were for later of course.
“That’s good. Perhaps you’ll be able to see just how kind humans can be. At least how kind the woman I stay with is, anyway.”
“There’s a lot you can learn from the pages of a book.”

She did NOT enjoy this at all. Oh, she was so tempted to just snatch her hand away. But if this was for learning purposes, then… She would have to bear with it.
As the spinel gently drags 14D’s fingers across the symbols, 14D does admit that it was rather useful … Now, even this defect would be able to read her some things. Hmm…
“Accepting of defects. Pfeh.” Whatever. Who cared about the customs of the little organics? At the mentions of Diamonds, she does look up from the symbols. “How long have you even been here?”
Upon finishing the reading, Liesel let go of Zircon’s hand. Going back to her own book, she merely let the words of aggression pass over her.
“I’ve been upon this planet for two cycles now. I was removed from my position hardly a day after I was brought to Homeworld. Without vision, I was useless to them and thus brought here. It was comforting to know I could find refuge here but I miss my Diamond more than I could put into words.” The Spinel closed the book before placing it back into the shelf.
“But what brings you to this desolate little rock?”
