The next thing we know is that Jude’s riding on a horse into Elfhame and has a Burger King Crown on her head.

Cardan’s toast after Jude made him king: “And to Jude, who gave me a gift tonight. One that I plan to repay in kind.”

This reads at first like a vow of revenge, but considering that the “gift” she gave him is the crown, Cardan literally repaid it in kind.

What I want to see in 'The Queen of Nothing'

-Cardan being pressured into marrying Nicasia (or anyone else for that matter)

-Jude returns to Elfhame

-Cardan greets her with something along the lines of “Well, wife, it’s been a while”.

-Everyone is shocked and confused because he just called JUDE his WIFE.

-And Cardan will oh-so-casually turn to everyone and be like

-“Oh, you haven’t heard?”

I know WHY Cardan exiled Her

Oh my god. 

I think I know WHY Cardan exiled Jude!!! 

Outside of the obvious: revenge (for being tricked and for his brother), remember when Jude says:

“Marriage is unusual amongst the rulers of Faerie because once a ruler one remains a ruler until death” 

AND 

“should Cardan marry I wouldn’t just have to get him off the throne to get Oak on it, I’d have to remove his bride as well”. 

Both of which makes me think: is Jude Cardan’s insurance policy against the rogue murderous Madoc? If Cardan is murdered, Jude (who is safely away in the mortal world) will ensure Madoc cannot have power. She will still rule.  And their marriage vows back this up: “until the crown passes from our hands” the key word is OUR, meaning they both rule. 

This is a pretty fool-proof plan because nobody even knows they are married, so  no one will even think to come after Jude in order to secure the Crown in the first place.

here’s a little tip incase you didn’t know!

If you have a plant that is dusty, and you want it to have shiny leaves, don’t bother buying some stinky chemical aerosol plant shine spray… just wipe down the leaves with a little milk on a towel. Pretty and natural shine that won’t hurt your plants!

So I used to actually avoid spending time in my bedroom because the energy was so stagnant and made me go into these super long depression sleeps. Nothing I did would get rid of this negative energy (burning sage incense, ect, nothing). It was awful. And then this morning I went out and bought a bunch of plants, purely for aesthetic reasons and it’s only been a few hours and????? My room feels so nice now??!!!! Like wth? It feels so GOOD to be in there now and so fresh and peaceful and it’s like this huge gross energy that was weighing me down before is just completely gone! Go out and get some plants everyone. Seriously, like research some that are easy to take care of and will do well with the amount of sunlight and humidity (or lack of it) in your room. Make sure they are non-toxic if you have pets. Just get some. Man the energy feels so good now.

Do not give up on yourself if your plants die!!! Do not stop growing plants just because some of them die!! It takes time, practice, and care to grow plants, even easy ones like succulents. When I first started growing, almost all of my plants died. Even now, years later, I have a succulent that I feel will die soon. Sometimes this happens, no matter how caring and careful you are. Keep going, keep trying, because you can do it!!

If you grow it for the fruit or root, you need full sun. If you grow it for the leaves, partial shade is all you need.

remember to pay attention to plants as you would pets if you want them to thrive. wipe the dust off their leaves, spray them with water, spend time observing their changes. I’ve found that a lot of plants will tell you what they need if you give your energy and listen.
