Well, do your homework my friend and then make the Künefe and enjoy 😏
I can't give you exact measurements tho because i made it only 1 or 2x a couple of years ago and i always just cook and don't measure really if it's a recipe i know!
You'll need the sugar syrup which you can prep before starting. I always take 1 glass of sugar and 1-2 glasses of water with a bit freshly squeezed lemon juice and i boil that for 10-20 minutes. (it depends, this is just the way i did it back then other people may do it differently and if you need exact measurments maybe the internet will have some recipes or you can compare and see what's similar and different) if you have a nice syrup you can set it aside and take that "Kadayif dough" (they look like really thin noodles), put it into a bowl for example and put some melted butter over there and mixy mixy mix with your hands to cover all of them in butter. They shouldn't be swimming in butter tho, just covered.
Then take your pan or something that you can put into the oven (maybe something for round cake, can be square too tho, the form isn't important when you cook it at home just the taste 😌) and smear a bit of the melted butter you have left if you want onto that pan and then take half of the "Kadayif" and put it in and press it down.
At this point you can either put it into the pre-heated oven. (I'd say approx. 180-195°C) so that the butter and kadayif charamelize a teeny bit and you have more charamelized taste or you can not put it into the oven yet at all but immediately start putting the middle layer on top ( of the kadayif that you pressed down at the bottom of the pan) which would be the cheese.
Try using shredded Mozzarella if you can, it shouldn't be that juicy. Then take the other half of the butter covered "Kadayif" that we haven't used yet and put it on top of the cheese and press that down as well, cover everything up nice-ly.
Now all of that comes into the oven until it's the golden brown tone you want it to be and the cheese is melted as good as it can be and take it out of the oven.
Pour the syrup over the hot fresh out of the oven kadayif with cheese and you'll hear that nice sizzling sound. It'll soak the syrup like a sponge. Add more syrup if you need to, you'll see if it's too dry still. And ready is your "Künefe"!
But be careful: IT IS REALLY HOT YOU MIGHT BURN YOUR TONGUE!!!! So wait and be patient but also try to eat it while it's warm because then it's better!!
Some people put pistachio on there for taste and decoration, you can do that too. But you can also leave out the cheese and only use the kadayif and syrup, tastes yummy as well. You can also put some walnuts into the middle or into the kadayif mix in general, also yummy!!
I hope this somehow gave you an idea even if there aren't really numbers to help you measure the ingredients!! 💕
