Welcome!

This is an ask / roleplay blog for the main team of my Roblox story, The Bot Takeover!

Ask whatever you want (within reason) to any of the main cast! (Side characters will also be an option, but the focus is on the main team)

The story will follow along the story that I am currently writing, so positions of the main team will be constantly changing!

Roleplaying with anyone would be amazing! But I would prefer Roblox characters / OCs.

No flirting please!

Any kind of roleplay is fine with me! (Ex. art based or text based)

Updates when I can or when I get asks!

I'm a traditional artist, so all art for this blog will be traditional

You should unironically play Outer Wilds, its a game you can play once in your life and you shouldn't spoiler anything or at least too much to yourself. (to mod)

Most games I get into are from people talking about it or just discovering them on Roblox

And I also don't generally care about spoilers (EXPECT BLOCK TALES I DON'T WANTS SPOILERS FOR THAT-)

Nice to answer a question after a while! Just...could I maybe get one or two directed to the characters-

That device you are holding is a "phone". People used phones for long distance communication before the incident.

Droid: "Hm. That object sounds familiar in my memory banks, though I can’t identify exactly what it is yet. Thank you for the explanation."

Salt jumps slightly before calming down.

Salt: "O-Oh, a new one...I...wasn't expecting to be more than one coming out of that phone-"

(The creature waves her hand at Salt once she sees him, looking a bit more timid than the first time she spoke)

Hii!! Don't worry! I'm not of any danger! It's not like I can harm you anyway! I can't exactly jump out of the screen nor do I or any of my kind possess a physical form outside it! ★

Salt: "O-Oh, um...ok!...if you don't want to hurt m-me-"

Salt steps out from behind the rock and heads back over to Droid.

Salt: "S-Sorry about my reaction. I've just...learned that hiding is the best way to survive in this world now so-"

Salt: "Anyways...h-hi there! My name is Salt...um, what's yours?..."

ACK! Sorry! ★

(The creature backs up from the screen a lil bit, looking a little awkward)

I just haven't talked to someone in such a long time! I'm very happy to know that I'm finally able to talk to someone! ★

Speaking of talking.. Who are you two? I wanna get to know you better! ★

Droid: "So, like Salt then? Guess your reaction makes more sense now..."

Droid: "But, ahem. My name is Droid. I am a Bot. Or...I was. I'm not sure what I am anymore currently. I'm in charge of The Resistance hivemind."

Droid looks over at Salt.

Droid: "Hey Salt, think this thing is friendly. It's asking who you are."

Salt peeks over a nearby rock.

Salt: "Um...a-are you sure it's safe?"

ok looking at premise of this story, its a funny contrast to how my friend's (and kinda mine? I'm not too much a part of working on it but atp I just wanna fun game but idk) game about takeover too, but yours is simply one is a bot takeover(kind of infection type of thing) and ours is literal manifestations of almost every negativity(key word that almost every) known to internet and roblox, ranging from a unserious ones like tryhards to a literal floating doomscroll demonic face the next- and the main threat that if negativity overtakes Roblox it likely might just implodes itself eventually, so characters cannot die in normal sense but if they stop fighting it gets closer to their own doom. but tbf it taken too much time for this concept to be even shaped, previous versions of the game sucked in one way or another and I'm suprised that we eventually settled in a simplier lore that doesn't involve "monsters are coming from banlands or something" because that's what it was used to be.

Ooo! That's definitely a very neat concept! Especially with the variety of negative emotions manifested, it could definitely have a lot of interesting twists and turns!

Personally for my idea, since I joined Roblox back in 2017, was the Bots that used to be a much larger problem on the platform (specifically the bright colors they had on them).

I've had the idea since around October or November I'm pretty sure, though I've only started to fully make it a project recently.

I learned more into the hivemind and losing your identity to an infectious crowd for my infection, as I thought it could be interesting / creepy and fit more along with what I was aiming for.

But hopefully the idea you're talking about goes well! I would definitely be interested in seeing stuff about it!

Bonus: Here's a doodle for the story I did a while ago in a sketchbook (I'm in college and one of the things we had to do was a daily set in a sketchbook). Chose this one specifically since it doesn't reslly spoil anything.

Droid: "Well, forgetting the incident a few days ago...we've been doing fine. Just walking around looking for supplies for the most part."

Droid: "Though you did just scare Salt a bit ago...so thanks for that..."

Droid looks down and picks up the device with the voices.

Droid: "What even are you? I don't recognize this in my programming."

(The creature stops waving it's arms and looks at the figure.)

(It stands like that for a few seconds before getting closer to the screen, looking at the figure in excitement of being noticed)

OH MY GOD HI HIHIHIHIHI!!! You can hear me, right?? I-is the audio getting through??? ★

Droid: "Um. Yes. Yes I can. You're...very loud. But, hello there."

(A little image pops up on the phone. A humanoid all black creature with purple eyes and noodle like arms and negs. It's waving it's arms, assumingly trying to get attention of the duo. There's either a voice, or text popping out of the phone, depending on how it's gonna work)

HELLOOOO??? Can anyone hear me?? ★

As the voice and image pop up on the screen, one of the figures begins to freak out and runs over the place.

The other figure however...

Droid: "Is that the cause? What even is that?"

Hm? What is this place?

Where even are you?

...someone is approaching.

"Are...are you sure this is the right way?"

"Not really. I'm just following the voices."

"W-Well...there's not really any other options...s-so I trust you!"

The two figures jump before looking around.

"WHAT WAS THAT?!
