Blaine: I don't know, maybe I would have thought about what to say more carefully. I would have found the courage to find his eyes in the audience and sing to him.
Blaine: As Cooper says, "coulda woulda shoulda" - there is probably nothing I could have done, he didn't want to hear any of it, and doesn't want to hear from me again.
Blaine: Yeah, a great costume wasted on a production that I couldn't find the energy to care about much.
Blaine: I'm guessing he was there to support his brother, who directed the show. Or to support Rachel, his roommate. She just broke up with his brother. I'm sure he thought he would see me, but he was trying to get away so he wouldn't have to talk to me.
Blaine: I wasn't planning on anything, but I guess when I ran up to him I was hoping for him to just talk to me. To yes, work towards repairing and rebuilding. But he didn't want to, he yelled at me for thinking I could say anything that would matter. He didn't care if I didn't care about the guy I slept with. He just shut me down. And when he stopped yelling, he just go really cold. Not cold because he wanted to hurt me, but cold like he just didn't care, that he'd given up. I think it might really be over.
Blaine: I've been thinking about this every night. But then in the morning I think if I can just wear him down, I might find that part of him that loved me.
Blaine: I guess this is what I should discuss with Melinda.
Blaine: I do know, but I appreciate you bringing it up to remind me. Everyone here has been so great, so supportive. The teachers, the administration, all the guys. McKinley is a classic public school, it's very dog-eat-dog. I kind of stuck out, not in a great way. But McKinley was an amazing rollercoaster: learning how to navigate all the different people and groups, falling in love, getting to be on a show choir team that won Nationals. But Dalton is always going feel more like my family.
Blaine: Ok ok, I'm coming, let me just clean up here first
Blaine: It's so weird having a single. Do you guys want to think about making a split triple together? Like put my bed in your room and put all the desks in my room or something? If you don't want to I COMPLETELY understand, though. Or you can think about it. I'm just spitballing
Blaine: I'm coming, coming to hear about your Stuff!
Nick: How do you think that would have gone considering how he reacted when you tried to talk to him?
Nick: It speaks to your talent that you did so well even with all of that going on and that you didn't have the energy for. A lot of us thought it was really good. Really, really good.
Nick: How do you feel about that? That it might really be over?
Nick: Is that what you want? To wear him down? What if you did wear him down? What would that change? He'd still be in New York City, you'd be here...
Nick: Dalton could maybe be all of those things for you too. Maybe not just this year, but from before and now combined.
Nick: I'll talk to Jeff. Maybe you could swap with Seb and have Hunter for a roommate. Seb would probably be glad to have a single again! Although the two of them are getting on surprisingly well.
Nick: You okay if Jeff is around? I could ask him to go hang out/crash with Seb or Seb and Hunter. Or maybe you and he could swap for the night.
