[glances around, searching for the source of the voice, before settling on the woman] Hm? Oh! Ah, I am quite alright! [wait…is that rude?] But if you knew a good place for a warm drink it would not go astray!

It’s really warm there so you could relax after standing out here in this cold weather too long! It’d be good for your health too.

[okay, so this is a cafe....] [approaches the counter] Do you do cafe mocha's?
[kind of does a double take bc this woman is…] [squints without meaning to bc she’s taller than him] [okay why] [remembers she’s a customer] Oh, er, yes, we do. [alright] [but how is she taller than him]
[smiles kindly but reaches to tuck a stray lock of hair behind her ear] [what’s with that scrutinizing look?] Can I get a large, please? Oh…and…um…[a small blush] …some directions?
[tries to will away the shock on his face, but it’s hard because this woman is actually taller than him] Of course, where do you need directions to? [types some stuff into the cashier thing] Also will that be all for your order?
I am trying to find the general store. I…I seem to not know my way around yet. [tries not to look embarrassed but fails]
Um…do you have pastries?
[looks up and shakes his head] It is confusing. I’m still new here myself, so I understand. Thankfully, I do happen to know where the general store is. [gives her directions]
[nods] We do. [points up at the board with all the menu items] Our choices are listed up there.
[takes the directions with some relief] Thank you very much, sir.
[glances up, fighting off some primal urge to drool] Ah! They all look fantastic! What do you recommend?
It’s my pleasure. [glances up at the board] Ah, well, the croissants are good. As are the cakes.
[caaaake] [coughs a little[ Would you happen to have chocolate cake…?
Of course. [nods, gesturing to the display case] Would you like a slice along with your coffee?
Yes please! [smiles] Do you have a name, friend?
Will that be all for you today? [glances up] [friend? Okay that works] Oh, yes, I’m Ludwig.
I believe so. [looks around for a place to sit] [it is always awful to sit on ones own in a place like this...unless one has a lap top, which she does not] Ludwig...I am Anya.

I have only been open a day. Vodka is not a hard sell in the winter, though. [chuckles] Too bad I do not have more time to throw together some wine for mulling.

[this woman is literally standing outside her brewery with a sample table set up] [yes, like a kid with a lemonade stand] [granted, all she currently has is vodka but hopefully she can entice some people….]
[he raises a brow as he comes across the vodka stand] [???]
Not every day you see something like this hanging about. What do you have?
At the moment? Triple distilled, chilled vodka in blueberry and strawberry flavors. I have beer brewing, though. It will not be ready for a few days.

[he’s wandering around Upper Gramina, taking in the store windows and such] [now that business is settled he finally has a chance to look around more]

Amelia knocked on the door of the building. She fluffed her hair, straightened her skirt, and held onto her folder of information about this place and the owner.
A rather frazzled, accented voice echoed from somewhere inside, over the sound of equipment. “It is unlocked! Please come in!”
..then there was shattering of glass which was followed by a litany of foreign curses.
“My cousin said this would be a fantastic place to set up shop,” she nodded, as if to reassure herself. “I can do good work here.” She hoped.
She took the folder with a small smile, looking them over. “Am I going to need a lawyer for these? Because I do not have one yet.”
“I don’t think so!” Amelia exclaimed. “It would be good to have one, but you don’t need one for these.” Amelia left Anya to sign, and looked around the place. “Are you going to specialize in beer or wine?”
She looked up from where she was scribbling her signature over and over again. “Beer and spirits, actually. I will be working from family recipes for both!”
Amelia knocked on the door of the building. She fluffed her hair, straightened her skirt, and held onto her folder of information about this place and the owner.
A rather frazzled, accented voice echoed from somewhere inside, over the sound of equipment. “It is unlocked! Please come in!”
..then there was shattering of glass which was followed by a litany of foreign curses.
Amelia stepped in, heels clicking on the hard floor. “Hello? It’s Amelia from city hall!” She paused, assessing what she heard. “Are you alright?”
The brewery was ‘cozy’ to say the least. A lot of shining new equipment crammed into a rather small, start up space. It also seemed like their should be at least ten more people running the operation of such equipment…but instead there was only one person present, sweeping up a lost crate of shattered bottle using a push broom.
“Ah. Miss Amelia,” she was spread a nod. “A pleasure to meet you, I am sure.”
“The pleasure is all mine! I know that I’ve personally been waiting for a brewery up here- we have a few bars in L.G. but they aren’t as fancy as a full brewery, y’know?” Amelia shook Anya’s hand, giving her the papers in her folder. “There’s just a few things for you to sign and then you’ll be good to go!”
