BRICKLAYERS WE HAVE REACHED A MILESTONE!!!
we are at a WHOOPING 106 bricks!!! Let’s keep going!
BRICKLAYERS!
we have reached 94 bricks!!! That is incredible!!!
Let’s keep up that momentum!!
i repeat my question. what is this and why do I like it
Breaking character for a moment!
This is a bit from Matt Dahan’s musical series Pulp Musicals!
The brick satellite is a play on the brick moon by Edward Everett Hayle and appears in the second episode named after it!
The first episode is the great moon hoax and can be found on Spotify and iTunes/Apple music!
Something simpler for today's prompt- Radiance, but also their scream as they're launched is so silly
Someone must have said this, but... John: Wow, the stars are beautiful tonight.
Anna: You know who else is beautiful?
Both of them at once: Rose.
Not like we did. Never again...

I've had a bit of an art block going on, but as soon as we reached episode 2 in the Pulp Reruns I got inspired, lol. 💙
had fun experimenting with this one, mostly just vibing. i tried using a textured blending brush for the first time, and I also figured out how to use symmetry rulers! 😀👍
You can find this design on my redbubble shop! You can also tip me on ko-fi!
There is something so beautiful about Urania Propitia for me. The harmonies are great, but just the thought of these 3 women that are SO SMART and have probably been shut down their entire lives.
Anna went through university, that was so rare!!! Hershey was probably one of the few guys who believed in her and wasn't insanely jealous! We all heard how Charles reacted to her being in charge.
Rose was a poor immigrant!!! How many minds are being wasted because they don't have access to the resources that those with money do?? She probably was told to "smile and stop worrying about sciences, those are for men"!!!
And even though Margaret had money, she was still a woman. Probably more so than Rose, was she told that she should stop worrying and just marry well!
AHH I'm just so obsessed, it literally brought a tear to my eye.
I can help with mixing the clay!!
We’re going to need all the help we can get! Anything helps my friend!
We’re on track to 100 then we’ll do something to celebrate!!
I’ll put it on the pile!!! Thank you so much!
We are getting there one my one.
A million thank yous for laying brick 74 I believe!!
nice! we past 75 i think!
We have FINALLY gotten to 82 bricks!!!!
I’ll put it on the pile!!! Thank you so much!
We are getting there one my one.
A million thank yous for laying brick 74 I believe!!
How are we doing so far?
Looks like we have SEVENTY FOUR bricks!!!
That it’s an incredible start to this! Thank you so much!
I’m so proud of this animatic first full length and I could not be happier with it.
(I’m so sorry to anyone who has seen me post this everywhere 😅)

I just had to draw Hershey and Nova (aka the Besties Ever) for @pulpmusicalsfortnight2024's science prompt, so here they are brainstorming the Satellite project.

Pulp Fortnight Day 1 - Science
i created a list of ideas for fortnight months ago but life has been hectic and i never actually got started on any of them.. but i whipped this up for today!! anna my beloved!
why brick
GREAT question!
My good friend and I figured that if we were to send a satellite all the way to space it needs to withstand the heat.
Brick was just the best material!
Day ONE!
looks like we have fifty three bricks as of today!
That is WONDERFUL!
a great start to all of this! so far everything is going smoothly too! Better than I could imagine to be honest-
Keep working hard my friends!
I hope you always know to find yourselves back here when you’d like
-AH 🧱
How many bricks were needed again?
We are going to need TWELVE MILLION Bricks (that’s what it takes to build a satellite). I know that sounds like a lot but I really think we can if we all pitch a little bit in!
