Living Arrangements; Headcanon

At first the Sima Manor was bequeathed to Sima Yan and Sima You, Complete ownership was passed down to Sima You due to Emperor Wu choosing Luoyang's luxuries especially to house the many hundreds of consorts from Sun Hao's surrender. However this only lasted until Emperor Wu's clique was corrupt and knowing Taiyou he can't stay near Luoyang in risk of assassination.

For his well being he would move to Three Locations, Chang'An for its Imperial significance, Xuchang for administration purposes, and especially New He Fei Castle, out of how Sima Shi was fond of the inventions and it's design. Only to return to Luoyang whenever his brother declared.

He also moved away from Luoyang as possible to avoid his brother from feeling cheated out of his place and that Yan was a fool to let the hidden corruption run amok. But there was nothing he can do at all to stop this.

It also hurt him internally to lose the house he grew up in since he looked up to Sima Shi as a father regardless of adoption. Giving him a subtle fury.
