Story time!
I need to read a fic where, after Chung Myung dies, he goes up to heaven or wherever and just chills will everyone in death. He's up there for a hundred years getting to live his post-war life with Tang Bo as they watch Earth from above, and then he's either knocked out and wakes up in the body of Sam Cho as usual or is dragged down to possess the body like Wei Wuxian.
The whole story is the same except for the fact that, while dead, both Chung Myung and Tang Bo figure out that spirits can interact a little bit with the living realm so Tang Bo ends up following Chung Myung around, pranking both him and everyone else around Chung Myung by knocking stuff over or something (involving knives, I'm sure). Maybe if Chung Myung is just possessing the body of Cho Sam, he can still actually see Tang Bo.
Idk, there's probably a lot someone could do with that, BUT IF ANYONE KNOWS A FIC LIKE THIS OR IS WILLING TO WRITE IT, BLESS YOU AND PLEASE LMK
The Tang family arc would have been hella lot funnier if we gotten Tang Bo narrating and as usual ragebaiting Chung Myung. Imagine during the duels, Tang Bo spews some tang family secrets and Chung Myung blurts it out too, and the rest of the Tang family who are watching and thinking this guy's lost his marbles and he somehow knows the super-secret of the Tang family and they go 'HUUH??' Chung Myung who ends up running and hitting nothing in particular, while Tang Gunak starts wondering if he made the correct choice(the Five Swords just got used to his antics lmao). OR Tang Gunak just wondering if his ancestors would roll out of their graves for choosing Mount Hua, meanwhile the actual spirit of his ancestor is going around the Tang estate cackling and pranking his family and the elders because he never got a chance to get payback for kicking him out.

Also, not that I don’t love the angst because I do love the angst, but it’d give Chung Myung the opportunity to sort some stuff out like his guilt and his hallucinations
