Pic 8 I asked the guide aka Omar Sharif when does the rainy season come he said ‘now, this river should be 3-4meters high’..hardly a drop visible the Bedouin would normally come here to water...a true picture of climate change!!! A four hour trip over the Atlas Mountains to get there amid new roads being built and dust everywhere! Well worth it! The Church of Notre Dame de Lourdes...Brutalist concrete built in 1954 by Architect Achille Dangleterre & Engineer Gaston Zimmer. Stained Glass designed by world famous Gabriel Loire. I took this first shot after asking the security guard if it was ok...then I waited 10mins for the black transit to move...there’s always something in the way! When I was walking out of the church they pulled a coffin out of the back of the transit...Yikes!!! Turns out the two policemen that were there had brought a deceased criminal in directly from prison! On a lighter note...
