I don't really see a lot of fics that show this side of Sizhui and I really enjoyed seeing him dealing with confusing emotions and just wanting Wei Wuxian back. - Anon

Summary:The house was very small, only two rooms, and it was largely empty aside from some sparse pieces of furniture. Even the sleeping mat seemed to have been rolled up and carried away. There were a few left behind items that proved they’d found the right cottage, such as a birthing stool and a pile of blankets. Zizhen poked his head to look in a bassinet and screamed. Jin Ling drew his sword. Jingyi gasped and clutched his heart, terribly startled. Sizhui rushed over, hand on the hilt of his sword just in case. “Oh,” he said.Wei Wuxian poked his head over. “Oh!” he said delightedly.  Wei Wuxian finds a demon baby during a nighthunt and is immediately smitten with it. Meanwhile, Lan Sizhui is very anxious to solve the case so he can get ahold of himself. (He's never been jealous of someone before, much less a baby, but... maybe this is what it feels like.)

Oh my god, haha, I LOVE that fic! I don’t reread much of my work often, but I do reread that one, I just love it so much, it’s so cute. I think my best works come when I’m inspired by a song for some reason? And I’ve written two fics now based on the song “Sexual” by Neiked, and I still get ideas for it all the time. 

(I am trying to update ACKS, but when I’m stuck on the new chapter, I’ve been writing this vmin soulmates AU? But I have this OTHER vmin idea that’s non-AU where Jimin’s been trying to take things to the next step with Taehyung for ages and they get stuck in an elevator? Idk, it’s too much to explain now, but ANYWAY. It’s also inspired by that song. It’s so cute and bouncy! But also a little sexy? But also wholesome, I think, like you said! Idk, it’s the right tone for a fic for me.)

Oh my gosh, Anon, this is very sweet, I’m so sorry I missed this message. I am doing well now! 

A lot has happened: 

I got a job

I totaled my car on the way to my job

I lost my job

I couldn’t afford my Korean classes due to losing my job

I cried everyday for two months looking for a new job

I found a new job! 

I start the new one on Monday and it’s for a company that really suits me. The last job, I worked alone in an office with no one to talk to, and I’m an extrovert, so it made me really depressed, I think. Plus the accident, and then getting severed... It was all a lot to take in. I feel guilty that I didn’t use my time off from work to write much, but I am writing now, so. 

Hopefully I can get back into the swing of things for you.

Hi!! Just wanted to tell you that I read all your fics and loved every single one of them!! You seem to be a vmin enthusiast and I wanted to ask if you ever read any of 1995soulmates fic? They’re one of my favorite authors alongside you! I would highly rec their recent fic ‘common ground’

Oh my gosh, vmin enthusiast puts it lightly. It’s the only pairing where I’m like “THIS IS REAL” (okay, just kidding, but also not kidding, but also mostly kidding, except for have you ever seen Jimin and Taehyung interact? but also no, it’s not real, I’m just teasing, lolololololOLOLOL). Anyway, I’ve never read their works. I’ve been on this huge My Hero Academia kick lately? But all my BTS works are suffering! So it would be good to read some vmin to get back on board. I will definitely get my act together and check them out! Thank you for the recommendation!

I just wanted to drop by and say that the Creating a Home series is probably my all time favorite fanfic ever. My dream is to adopt a child or 2 with special needs from foster care (Unfortunately my finances make it feel impossible. I did complete almost all of my tfc training though.), I feel like this is so so so well done that as much as I want to write a foster care au I don't think anything could top this (even having been trained & babysit foster care children)! I appreciate you. Take care

Aw! This is the sweetest message! I’m so glad that you enjoy it so much! 

And if there’s one thing I’m learning as an emerging adult, it’s that finances ebb and flow. There are definitely periods that are really tough, but stability comes! 

And omg you can totally write a foster care fic. They’re so heartwarming. I feel like with more of them put out into the universe, the world will be a better place.

a moment of silence please because today is the day lily, james and harry potter crashed their car into a crocodile which ate harrys parents and then took out a knife and gave him a lightning bolt scar. This is such a tragic day for eveyone around the world
