A joint survey showed that roughly 55 percent of AAPI surveyed in California disagree with the narrative of “pulling yourself up by the bootstraps.”
This is a 'digested' news piece based on the extensive California AAPI work survey that I shared a few days ago on #chtownNews. Might be of interest - good talking points for many of you.

This is all over the Bay area news channels - it’s not directly relevant to our game, but I did think it showcases an interesting web of Chinese American/ Chinese media interests when it comes to scandal, crime, and...real estate.
Li has been portrayed as the mastermind/manipulator in the murder and a "significant" flight risk. She's also supposed to be connected to some deep SF Chinese money rumored to be wrapped up in political elite and gangs and such. (Local gossip is that "dirty" SF Chinese money is hidden/laundered in Peninsula real estate and business deals.)
A disturbing lesson for everyone.

Under President Trump, a ritual for some unauthorized immigrants, who are required to meet periodically with an ICE officer, has turned threatening.
burping and farting unethical? wut?

Big talk coming out of a state that voted for a grubby, disgusting con man.
Apparently burping and farting, natural human biological processes, are now an offense. Human whilst Chinese = WRONG!
