So happy to finally reveal the cover for my first middle-grade, fantasy novel, "The Cloven Thief" and also announce that it will be published this fall! The characters featured on the cover are Omelia the meadow faun, Pan the meadow faun, Hobkin the satyr, and Ruddy the cardinal.
Writing and publishing a book has always been a dream of mine. I've loved books as much as I've loved animation and grew up devouring series such as Brian Jacques' Redwall series, the dark fantasy series of Robin Jarvis, and Kathryn Lasky's Guardians of Ga'Hoole. I really hope that fans of those books might also enjoy mine as well.
It's been a long road to get to this point, from writing the book, querying for agents/publishers, getting a publisher, then respectfully exiting from said publisher, to finally deciding on taking the indie/self-publishing route. Hoping to share more about the progress as I continue to prepare for "The Cloven Thief''s fall release. It's very nerve-wracking to finally officially put a project I put so much love out into the world, but also very exciting as well. I hope many of you will truly enjoy this story once it's out and have a fun time growing to love these characters.
Also, all the art and writing is 100% human created. Can't believe that needs to be said, but just putting it out there.
