I mainly post about my 12dp redesign and attached world! I also post random 12dp thoughts i may have. Feel free to ask questions! I would love to explain literally any part of this so dont hesitate to ask.

General redesign info:

Set in the 1810s-30s

Most of their flowers have been changed

Its Barbieland not real life

Island princess, princess and the pauper, and maybe more are cannon to this world in different kingdoms

Ive been making this redesign since 2022

“Barbie: Las Meninas” - Barbie Rapunzel

After almost 50 hours, I finished my reinterpretation of Diego Velázquez's painting “Las Meninas” with characters from the Barbie fantasy film franchise.

This idea came from the third image, just as a joke. In the end, the joke turned into a personal challenge, and then into MANY hours of work. I am very happy with the result, but above all, with everything I have learned during the process.

Who is your favorite character in the reinterpretation? Personally, I love Bibble, but I adore how Rapunzel looks.

I apparently havnt watched a barbie Christmas Carol in my adult life and hadn't realized its literally set very solidly in the 1930s. It's literally perfect. Hadly and Isla fit right into their group

I always assumed it was set the same time as the book.
