MacDonald’s
I used materials from McDonald’s breakfast and some used paper to form a “Mac” model. Of course, this computer cannot function. But i hope viewers can reflect from this model - we are producing some non-recyclable materials while recycling. Then, how many materials have to be recycled to produce a non-recyclable product?
Platonic Leaves
It is based on the myth of plato - splitting human into half to let them search for the other half in the rest of their lives.
Identified Candy
The clays are colored with the pigment of red pocket, and are put in the protective holder of identity card
Object three: Dreamboat
I was asked to create an object that represent myself. I create a kayak, representing my willingness to take adventure as well as my heart in pursuing freedom. Yet the kayak is shabby and the oars are winding. The kayak is fragile and can hardly move forward. The apple on the kayak is the fuel of the adventure, and the leaf is my lifespan.
Object two: Galaxy
I was asked to create an object whilst listening to a song. The song inspires me galaxy, so I made a loop. There are some dropping sounds in the song. Thus I made some balls and cubes dropped to the loop.
Object One: Hands
I was asked to close my eyes and create objects in random. I held a clay as tight as i can to form the object at the top of the picture. And then I created three dice-like objects with my fingers. The former object contains my handprints while the latter one contains my fingerprints.
