Happy 2023, everyone!  I hope that it treats you well.  You deserve it, friend.

So, hey, finished my fan comic!  It’s always nice to clean a slate when a new year rolls around.  Not that I’m not proud of this little project, but I’m also anxious to move back to my own intellectual property now that I’ve paid my dues to a show that seized my fancy.  In any case, I hope you got a kick out of it!  It sure increased my rep on Twitter, for whatever it’s worth.

I’ll be back soon with more original content.  It’ll be a blast!  But meanwhile, remember, there are surely many people who aren’t as cozy as some of us on this New Year’s Day, and who likely don’t have as much to look forward to.  Once more, I encourage you to give if you find it convenient to do so.  But in any case, may you and yours have ample reason and opportunity to celebrate.

This turned out to be surprisingly popular on Twitter!  So far it hasn’t attracted many new patrons, but it’s still very nice to be seen.  I hope everyone here is enjoying it too, though it’s a passion project stealing time away from my original work!  But like I said, it’s good practice for Witch Warp.

Footnotes:  Anne’s feet.  Maybe it’s taboo, but it’s my AU, so I figured I’d have my druthers regarding Anne’s famous footwear (specifically, that she’s canonically disheveled and always missing a shoe).  Her new boots are based on a design by a storyboard artist.  Mr. Applegate says he drew them on a lark, but I liked ‘em.

Speaking of body parts, the conditions which the Calamity Trio receive here are based on a fan theory which became popular prior to the show’s completion.  In my version, each wound flowers from a previous trauma - Anne’s clobbered arm, Sasha’s scar, and Marcy’s spinal injury.

Anyway, thanks for being patient while I humor my muse.  I’ll get back to my own shared universe soon!

for a good while I’ve been thinking about SPRX encountering some sort of. space unicorn. idk why but it feels right! perhaps he’s mad that it’s “selfishly” keeping all that magic and immortality to itself while millions of people suffer everyday. especially with Skeleton King growing to he an even bigger threat than before.

at one point I want SPRX to parallel the Red Bull from The Last Unicorn. lol yeah it’s because he’s red (and for a portion of the story is an adversary to the unicorn.) big themes of freedom, responsibility, and how those two ideals may clash with each other.

I like to think that even 10 years after the events of Tamers, Henry has never really forgiven Janyu. He's too nice to out right say to his face and just tries to hide just how much the betrayal hurt him. and it's clear from his actions and how he interacts with his dad that their relationship will never be the same. and Janyu just sits and watches as Henry follows in his foot steps (Goes to Uni in America, works with Yamaki, ect.) just to fix his mistake.
