~ ♩ Happy shabby life ♫ ~ Not even @nattravn-art is safe from Artfight attacks! Felt the urge to draw some of our Pathologic oc's in a sort of fairytale illustration style so here's Alisa with her adoptive parents having a good old stroll through town UwU And of course the drawing is named after one of the best tracks in Chulip :3

~ Flowers for Daisy ~ Revenge for @toyoll for their drawing of my Chu over at Artfight! I have such a weak spot for bunny/rabbit designs so I could not pass up on drawing Daisy. She certainly deserves all the flowers for the ordeal the game puts you through :;)

~ Saxon coming out of her well ~ Alternative name: Saxon coming out of the shittiest built well known to man! Saxon belongs to @johankasas! Could not pass up on drawing her :3 Had to referense the classical painting "La Vérité sortant du puits armée de son martinet pour châtier l'humanité" by Jean-Léon Gérôme. It just fit too perfect for the patho setting :D

~ Where did I go? ~ Third attack for Thewigglyplant! Had to draw their Grimshire oc Olenna. Poor sweet thing not being able to remember where she goes at times or why there's traces of blood about T3T

~ Morning in the warehouse ~ Second Artfight attack for Windfalls! Been itching to draw their oc Philip so badly! Look at this man. Just having a relaxing morning. He deserves that coat, as a little treat :3

~ Legs too tired for steppe walks ~ Slowly gonna start posting the Artfight attacks I've done so far. First out is this attack for @ukk0 of their characters Jargal and Davaa! Could not pass up on drawing them in a steppe setting :3 Their designs are so cool and I just enjoyed drawing them so much!

Here are some wips from me- they all have Val in them (truly she is the wrongest women) because I'm just doodling my vampire feels between the work I must do and commissions- so this is where my heart is... @r1ch-uncle-5keleton 's Everett showing up in an Evil AU in #2, and the last 2 of course with @mortifying-macaroni 's Miss Grim who has stolen atleast half my brain. The last one is just how I get my ideas out before I may/may not come back to them ;)

It's become less often that I start something without finishing it... and then there's the super messy to messy-ish sketches like these I make that remain messy sketches for months and it's a complete mystery if I'll ever get to finish them. Oh well :'D

Thank you so much for the tag! T3T Some of these are stuck in limbo while others are just waiting for the finishing touches but decides to crop and have fun with them! And the first one of my herb bride Una reviles how I do with my colours: I always have one solid base colour as the bottom layer so as to help my eyes to focus (the wonders of drawing when your brain is just a wee bit damaged :;) ) Tagging (just as with Natt, not a demand) @cirrar-lake :3

~ Twins with pearl earrings and cube ~ My spouse @nattravn-artdid an absolutely BEAUTIFUL illustration for last years Laketober (PLEASE GO SEE IT HERE!) inspired by "The Fallen Angel" by Alexandre Cabanel. This fuelled my own want to make more pieces of oc's and game characters inspired by famous paintings. And as such this piece was born! Inspired by Johannes Vermeer's painting "Girl with a Pearl Earring". I imagine there are several art pieces depicting the Van den Bosch twins about the town of Rusty Lake: all of them with muddled artists or times they were painted. After all Rusty Lake time just can never make up its mind, so who knows how old those paintings really are? :3

~ Clara & Susan Van den Bosch ~ Meet Clara and Susan Van den Bosch, a pair of twin oc's that I made for mine and my spouses Rusty Lake RP. These are their current looks, as in the time we're playing somewhere in the 1960's - 1970's but the twins are actually old souls from as far back as the early 1800's. They were once described as curious and cleaver to a fault and perhaps that was true, for it was their curiosity that lead them down the rabbit hole of Rusty Lake and its time, that just never works as it should. In this time they keep rather low profile: Clara works as a therapist while Susan does general handiwork and upkeep of the independent theatre "Fields of barley."

~ At night, these woods get dark... ~ Found a very old image all the way back from 2025 that was never finished of Rosalind and felt the itch to finish it up now. Rosalind is not afraid of the woods during the day... and she pretends she is not frightened of them during the night either. She wants to explore no matter what, thinking there's always new mysteries around Rusty Lake to discover. However one can not deny that when night comes, those woods get very dark...

~ Mother, my coffin is so cold... ~ My Rusty Lake oc Anastasia spent one whole year terrorising her family and community when they had sacrificed her to the lake. They had all made a mock grave for her, where her mortal body was not stored but simply in case anyone would come around and ask what fate had befallen her. Many of the community members swore that they could hear her from within that chest, mockingly begging them to unearth her. Her mother, the same who had made the decision to sacrifice her, was her most prominent target and all through the night she would beg her to dig her up, how lonely her coffin was, how cold the earth was. After but a year everyone from the farmland was gone and when the villagers noticed that no lights ever went on in the farmhouses any more, they went to investigate finding nothing but animals gracing, houses seemingly abandoned and a suspiciously dug up hole with an empty coffin inside.

~ Anastasia "Asya" Danilova ~ Who had "new Rusty Lake oc" on their bingo card? Not me but here we are! My Rusty Lake hyper focus returned with a vengeance and I'm more than happy to have it back <3 So here is Anastasia "Asya" Danilova. Her family came to Rusty Lake under very mysterious circumstances in the 1700's and settled down on a farmland where they quickly became known as a rather "odd" community who mostly kept to themselves and their followers. More blabbering under the read more, as per usual just know this is how I look and that I adore each person who actually reads it :3

Rumours were certainly circulating about just what sort of thing they may be worshipping or why they were so seldom seen in town. Even more of them surfaced when portraits started circulating of a young girl with flaxen hair that seemed to captivate the hearts of some of the town youngsters. Youngsters who went to see if her beauty was the same in reality and who rarely returned. Anastasia herself was living a sheltered existence and didn't know about either the rumours or the fate which awaited her nor that this fate was the same that her three older sisters, who had all vanished one after another, had met. Much to her mothers delight, Anastasia was "the perfect fruit", a soul to be given to the lake for enlightenment. So she was and enlightenment she was bestowed. What was not planned was the one year of rage which it brought with it. One by one the people occupying the community either fled or vanished: many of them swearing that they would hear the voice of the girl they had given to the lake mockingly begging them to unearth her empty casket. Despite her state, Anastasia spent her new life outside of the bounds of time engaging in mostly spiritual adventures. During the late 1800's she was wrapped up in the mysticism and medium craze and as of the time of the RP she's fully engulfed in the light Wiccan craze of the 1960's - 1970's. Has absolutely zero interest in finding a successor or what not and is instead having a sort of independent theatre/artistic space called "Fields of barley". Has floated about the same sphere as Aldous and Jakob but never outright interacted with them: she is rather just finding amusement in the fact that they're all the same but the two others seems to occupied with their own thing to realise that.

~ Petya ~ Once more I used an old custom design I bought ages ago as a project to re-design and use in Grimshire. So here's Petya! He's an orphaned opossum lad who used to live in a bigger city. Then the plague happened and his best friendemi was gonna be sent away to Grimshire "for his own good". So Petya simply snuck into his luggage to join the voyage :D A very easy going boy who knows how to bake the best pastries you'll ever taste!

~ Spring time greetings from the Rosewood family ~ So I've been playing a ton of Paralives. Generally when I play these type of games I don't get too attached due to the entire living/dying cycle of these games. But somehow I got attached to my para Marigold who ended up having triplets that she is raising as a single mum. And a such I wanted so badly to draw her little family. This also means their save file will be left alone as my heart hurts too much at the thought of one of them dying xD Some oc lore under the read more, just know this is how I look right now:

Marigold had artistic ambitions but when the triplets arrived she put that on hold and started working in the medical field. She adores her girls but sometimes get a bit melancholic at the thought of chasing her artistic dream. The triplets are as following, left to right: Opal. The "middle" triplet. Just like her mother she is very artistically inclined and will draw on just about any blank paper she can find. Ruby. The "youngest" triplet. A rather timid child who seems to see things no one else does. Really enjoys stargazing but is too intimidated by the dark to go out on her own to view them. Amber. The "oldest" triplet. Has a bit of a mischievous streak to her. The bravest of the triplets, often disappearing on long "adventures" in the woods or by the sea: despite how much it worries her mother.

~ This is going to be GREAT ~ Joked about that this is how Pearl and Coral arrive and find their homestead in Animal Parade and had to draw it! Pearl certainly tries to keep their spirits up about how it will be a fantastic start of a new chapter of their lives... but secretly feels really shitty that she dragged Coral along for this. It takes A LOT of time for them to get the home into livable conditions :;)
