Chile’s first Oscar ! I’m so glad, congratulations to the creators. Is important to remember that this story is based on the Chilean military dictatorship in 1973 to 1990. During which time, many people of my country were exiled, tortured and murdered.

Chile just won its first Oscar ever for this short animated film!!! Not only it’s a visually beautiful film, but it has a deeper meaning: it’s a story about the exile during Pinochet’s dictatorship. If you have 10 minutes, please watch. It’s worth it. And here in Chile we are very proud!!!
