An experiment! I’ve been really inspired by artists that produce colorful and simplistic but detailed illustrations so I attempted it myself. I imagine she’s the little nymph responsible for putting wishes on dandelions! I need to work on a faster process next time… :P

I really really appreciate animators and artists, and I find that those people are who I look up to the most. Here are some of my favorites:

1.) Angelina L.B.- or ALBinwonderland here on tumblr. I can't say enough amazing things about her! She is adorable, talented, brilliant, and quite eloquent. I also really enjoy her ASMR youtube channel (she is the one to get me to sleep a lot) along with her main channel that offers insight into many of the important social issues of the world in a friendly way. Her personal style is so lovely and makes me so happy. All in all, she is a huge source of inspiration for me, and I am thrilled to see what she does next :)

2.) Lindsay Small-Butera - or smalllindsay here on tumblr. Wow. Okay, so Lindsay is someone I have looked up to dearly for a few years now. She and her husband Alex are the creators of and animators behind Baman Piderman! Lindsay is funny, friendly, and just such a wholesome person. I love tuning into her livestreams and drawing along with her. I can't say enough wonderful things about her<3 I hope that I get the pleasure of meeting her one day to thank her properly for the smiles that got me through some rough times!

3.) Emmy Cicierega - or Emmyc here on tumblr! Emmy is one of the funniest people I have ever come across online. Her art ranges from silly comics to brighten even the grumpiest of days, to beautiful illustrations that have a whimsical, comforting feel. I had the pleasure of meeting her brother Neil and Ming Doyle at the 2013 Boston Comic Con, but I just missed Emmy! She was also a storyboard artist for one of my favorite shows, Gravity Falls! Emmy is just simply wonderful.

Tbh, I could go on and on about these women, but I will end it here. There are many other artists I admire (Ming Doyle, Victoria Gedvillas, Arin Hanson, and a million more), but I couldn't help but gush about how happy these 3 make me.

All in all, thank you all for all that you have done to inspire not only myself, but thousands of others! Keep up the amazing work<3

Allow me to give you a quick lesson in economics to describe to you how royally screwed we are.

A network is a based off of one thing only; not to make you happy by keeping shows that only you like, but rather to make as much money as possible.

Money is usually brought in by merchandise and commercials.

And when a show loses a lot of air time, guess what happens? It becomes less popular. Meaning it can only bring in so much revenue.

This is of course, means that Steven Universe is basically being thrown under the rug. And might be treated like LOK was by Nickelodeon.

So we HAVE to bring in more viewers & profit. Or else… We will lose an entire story that we will remember as “What could have been”

My solution? Make as much noise as possible. Bring it up on all social media. Make your friends watch the next episodes. Do whatever you can. We don’t want to lose this. Trust me. Please just don’t let this go unnoticed. That is all I have to say.

These brilliant paintings were made by Duane Bryers, the artist responsible for my all-time favourite pin-up girl. Hilda is not only sexy, but she has a distinct personality that I don’t see in the other girls of her category. While most pin-ups are simply eye candy, Hilda makes me laugh and marvel at her adorable down-to-earth-ness.

True story; this officer (John Pike) got a settlement of $38,000 because he said he got depressed after pepper spraying these kids. Oh, the depression wasn’t for feeling remorseful for pepper spraying a bunch of college kids peacefully protesting. He got depressed because he said since the media kept playing the video of him pepper spraying peaceful kids without cause, he got threats and didn’t feel safe. He didn’t feel safe. I’m not making that up. This motherfucker collected nearly 40 grand on worker’s comp after assaulting a bunch of college kids.
