There will never be enough words in the dictionary to describe the beauty and the charm that is The Blue Hole. It's charming, thrilling, scary and breathtaking all at the same time.

Quiet, secluded, mind-freeing, and all that's in between is how it exactly is up on the mountain hills of The Blue Hole. I don't believe there's anything else I'll enjoy as much in Dahab as I enjoy going up there, seeing the endless sea on one side with the mountains on the other, and the dark patch of water that is the actual Blue Hole in the middle like a cherry on top of a pie.

For some strange reason, Kygo has always been my musical companion up there and sundown has always been my time of choice as I lay back and enjoy every bit of nature I can with Kygo's beats setting the perfect soundtrack as the sun makes its way down the mountains.

One day, I'll tell you all about the underwater there, but since I'm not an experienced diver yet to dive a site like The Blue Hole, I know I wouldn't even be close to doing it justice by just describing how amazing I've heard it is from people who did it.

Here's to The Blue Hole with everything it is. Here's to The Blue Hole that will always remain my favorite spot in Dahab. And here's to all the beautiful souls that were lost there, we make sure you'll never go forgotten.

I won’t budge. I won’t move . I’m keeping my ground and I’m standing still. The minute I wanted to win over the whole world with just one move, a single move to prove I’m still in the race and that I didn’t lose completely, at least not yet.

Needless to say, I didn’t win. Not the world, not him, not even myself. What I got in return was a memory and a footprint of where I wouldn’t move an inch. That place will always hold a very special place to my heart, even though I didn’t win, even though what was lost was more significant at the time. But I’ll always have my insistance, I’ll always have my footprints and I’ll always stand still for a couple of seconds everytime my path is crossed there.

Leaving it all behind, I recently decided it’s time I quit my job and this metropolitan city I live in and go look for some peace of mind.

My family lives in what I know to be the most peaceful, laid-back and care-free city this country has to offer; Dahab. Deciding to join them for an open time-off was the right thing to do as now and after a very long time, I’m coming back to find myself and rediscover everything that was lost along the way.

To share my experience with you is to share Dahab with you because it has changed me in every possible way. I’m a part of it now and it resides within me.

Let me share with you this self-discovery journey and introduce you to Dahab as I know it.
