Super cool product to show you guys! This is a Volumizing Lash Powder by Essence and you can get it at Ulta.  I saw it and was super intrigued because i had never heard of a lash powder before.  I decided that for 2.99 I couldn't go wrong and I picked it up.  Turns out, its less of a powder and more tiny little fibers.  You are supposed to put on a coat of mascara and then quickly brush on some of the fibers while its still wet.  Then cover it with another coat of mascara to set it.  It actually works crazy well!  It creates insane volume and I was blown away.  The only downside is that the packaging is a little bit awkward because it makes it so that you can only dab the end of the mascara wand they give you in the powder.  Otherwise it will get everywhere. And trust me, i mean everywhere. Do not try and dip the whole wand in, you'll regret it.  But honestly, this is so cheap and works so well that I'm going to continue to purchase this until i find something better or cheaper! So sorry for the long hiatus guys! But i'm back, and i have a bunch of stuff to show you!  First thing i got recently was this Layla Softouch Effect nailpolish in the number 02.  I had never heard of this brand before but they had a display in Ulta and they looked awesome! The Softouch ones are a very pretty matte finish, but since it has sparkle, it looks beautiful and soft. With 4 coats, the glitter covered my nail without being thick and I absolutely love it! It's honestly so pretty and i would love to go back and get more.  I definitely recommend this product!

I am reviewing the L'oreal wet shine lip stains.  The ones I have are: Berry Persistent, Stubborn Plum, Lilac Ever After, Coral Tattoo, and Forever Fuchsia.  So far, I'm loving these!  They last on my lips for hours on end, color barely changing.  There aren't tons of colors out yet, but the ones that they do have are vibrant and beautiful.  I hope they turn this into a full line so that there will be a larger selection, but for now I love them.  They are very pigmented, but because they are a stain they are slightly sheer which is perfect.  You can leave it semi-sheer, or layer it to make it more opaque.  These will definitely be something I use often. I absolutely recommend purchasing some!

The last three balm stains I have are the CoverGirl Jumbo Gloss Balm in #260 (the deep plum shade), Sally Hansen Colorfast Tint + Moisture Balm in Blackberry Honey, and the Tarte Natural Lip Stain in Lust.  I really like the Covergirl one, it's pretty long lasting and even though it is a little more sheer than the Revlon ones, it gives good color payoff.  The Sally Hansen one was very disappointing.  I picked it up on a whim, and again (same with the Revlon one from earlier today) I was hoping for a dark red, but got an unflattering brown color.  Maybe another color would work out, but the quality wasn't fantastic either so I probably won't get another.  The last one is my Tarte one.  I love this, I used to have another one but I used it all up.  They are super nice and shiny, my only issue is that i wish they would wear a little longer.  If I wasn't so darn cheap I would definitely get a bunch of these, so if they are in your budget i'd say pick some up! I recommend the matte collection, they are really nice and long lasting as opposed to the original shiny ones. (though those are nice too).

So I have a few of these Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains, and overall I love them.  The ones I have (left to right) are: Precious, Honey, LoveSick, Romantic, and Adore.  My favorite one is Honey, it is a beautiful pink color that is really flattering and I use it as a sort of neutral lip.  The light colored ones dont last as long, because the color doesn't really stain, but the bright ones (like LoveSick) last for a decent amount of time, maybe only having to reapply once or twice in a day.  The only stain I was unhappy with was Adore.  I bought it because I wanted a dark red color, and as you can see, thats what the packaging implies.  When I opened it however, it was a strange shimmery brownish orange color.  Other than that, I would say these are an excellent cheap substitute for the Tarte lip stains or the Clinique chubby lip pencils.

First Day!

Okay guys, so I'm done for the day.  I'll decide what to talk about tomorrow, maybe balm stains?  Who knows, we'll see. If anyone has a preference let me know :)

Okay so right now, these are the last of my cream shadows.  I'm going to do all the singles in one so that you aren't spammed with posts.  The first one is Lorac 3D Liquid Lustre Shimmering Top Coat.  It is absolutely gorgeous and i love to mix it with eyeshadows or foundation to make a highlighter.  I also love using it in the inner corners of my eyes as a beautiful brightening shimmer. Can't go wrong! I definitely recommend it.  The next one is a Lush Fresh Handmade Colour, and it is really nice, but you do have to really blend it out.  It takes a relatively long time to dry/set, so quite honestly I probably won't buy another because of their steep price.  The third one is an Ulta Extreme Wear Cream Eyeshadow in Socialite.  I like it, it doesn't crease and is pretty affordable.  I'd definitely consider getting another one, it just wasn't a wise color decision on my part.  The fourth one is a random brand from Ulta called GeoGirl.  This one has a strange almost sandy consistency that doesn't feel great on the eye lid.  It doesn't crease though, so if you don't mind the initial feeling go for it.  It's only around $2, but they only have 2 colors and they look the same.    Not thrilled.  The next one is from L.A. Splash and it is called Liquid Gold.  It is alright, but it does flake off after awhile.  It's a little bit uncomfortable on the eye.  I probably wouldn't buy another.  The last one is a cream base from Sephora called Rags to Riches.  It's nice and lasts for a long time.  I might get another, but I originally got it because it was on sale, so I might not be willing to pay full price if they even sell them anymore.

Another brand of creme shadows I'll review is Sula.  These are all natural which is always a nice thing to own.  The ones i have are Hard To Get and Time For Change.  They aren't super pigmented, but they dont crease and look wonderfully delicate.  The packaging is super cute with the flower pattern and they have a decent amount of product in them. I got mine on sale at Ulta, and that's the only place I've ever seen them, so I'd look there if you want them.  I recommend trying these out, especially if you like to stay all natural and haven't been able to find cream shadows.

These next mousse shadows are from No7, and you can get them at Target.  They are a tad bit expensive, but i love the green one.  The ones I have are: Vanilla, and Khaki.  They do crease if you don't blend them enough, but if you do, or put them under powder shadows, they stay nicely.  The olive green one is a stunning color that i use often.  The tubes contain a good amount of product, and I suggest trying them out!

So these are the NYX cream shadows, and I have them in Deep Purple and Hunter Green.  These don't crease if you let them set before opening your eyes, but they are sort of sheer.  You need to layer them a bit, and personally, I wouldn't wear them alone because they are so sheer.  In the swatch photo I did three coats.  They are pretty cheap though, like $5, so if you were considering it, I'd say pick one up and see if you like it.  I wouldn't get the purple one though because it does leave behind a pinkish stain that's hard to get off the eyelid. (That scares me a little) But yeah, go for it.

So these two "whipped shadows" are from Ulta Brand.  The ones I have are: Cream Puff, and Whipped Stardust.  In all honesty, I expected to give you good reviews of these, but as I began to swatch I noticed that Cream Puff had changed consistencies entirely! I have had it for a little over a month, and i opened it up today (It was completely sealed, I promise!)  and it was unusable.  I had to toss it.  The Whipped Stardust one is still nice though. It creases a little bit, but not too bad and it is very pigmented with a nice texture.  I'm sad though because the other color was really nice, so maybe it was just a packaging malfunction or something, but i'm not sure I can recommend this products.  For this one I would have to say, decide for yourself.

The next brand of cream shadows I'm reviewing is Essence.  These cream shadows are extremely cheap, they retail for around $3 each.  The ones i have (from left to right) are: Glammy Goes To... , Coppy Right, and Stars & Stories.  These for their price are quite good.  They are a little hard to spread on the lid, but once you have gotten it even they don't crease.  If you have an Ulta around you, I'd say check these out.  The only problem is they have a very low color selection.  As of right now, I think there are only 5 colors and if you don't like metallic there is nothing there for you.  But all in all, for their price I'd say pick one up and try it, you've got nothing to lose!

Okay, next up is my NARS duo cream shadows.  I only have three of these because quite honestly, they aren't very good.  I usually love NARS products as they are very high quality, however, I spent quite a bit on these three and they crease more than any cream shadow I've ever owned.  They never set, so they rub off with barely a touch.  The ones I have (from left to right) are: Unconditional Love, Summer Time, and Thebes.  I have tried my best to love them, but unfortunately they just aren't practical.  So all in all, I'd say don't go out of your way to purchase these expensive eye shadows.

Here are all of my Maybelline Color Tattoos, In order from left to right, top to bottom... Painted Purple, Mossy Green, Pomegranate Punk, Bad To the Bronze (2x), Rich Mahogany, Audacious Asphalt, Cool Crush, Seashore Frosts, Bold Gold, Too Cool, Inked in Pink, Tough as Taupe, and Lavish Lavender.  As an overall statement, I absolutely love these and I am always waiting for new ones to come out.  I highly recommend them because they are super long wear, they dont crease, and all the ones that I own with the exception of "Painted Purple" are extremely pigmented.  "Painted Purple" was very underwhelming compared to the rest of them.  You can layer it enough to be bright though, so not to worry. The one thing I wish they would do is come out with a matte collection.  The only matte one they have is "Tough as Taupe" (as far as I know).  And i loved that one, so I would be all over a matte collection, I'd probably buy every one.  Anyway, they retail for around $7 and contain a large amount of product, so hop on over to your local drugstore and pick up a few!
