They keep saying that Robby's arc is 5 seasons long. We know season 3 is set in the same year as the last. Season 4 might have a smaller than a year time jump. Season 5 might then have a longer time jump. All potentially amounting to it being the time of Whitakers last year as a resident, or even the first year as an attending or fellow, ready to take over the story with his own multi-season main character arc.

things i'm excited for in s3, in no specific order: - langdons arc. He's over the drama, focusing on his own path and recovery. I hope eventually in season 4 Robby, still having cut him off, will be forced to offer him an attending post and Langdon will laugh and say 'nah i'm good' and get a big paycheck from Presby. - seeing javadi in a new speciality she truly enjoys. Loved the cameos from other surgical specialities, this will tie in nicely with those scenes. - abbot(t)'s past. santos and her sh story. Both have been hinted at across both seasons, and it'd be good to finally dive into the those characters more. ... and shen finding out the hospital is building an in-house Dunkin Donut shop.

Something that keeps me up at night is what did Victoria Javadi do for patient care hours for med school!?!? If she was 20 in the first season and she said she went to college at 13 that means she applied to med school at 16/17. So what job was she working that she was able to start getting experience at 14-17!? In the state of PA you can get ur EMT at 16 but even then you can barely actually work and she would already be applying to med school. My HC is she just had a lot of volunteer hours in the hospital

A lot of shadowing both parents and their friends, 4.0 GPA and 525+ MCAT with strong rec letters from high up doctors and good ECs to Pitts (approx. the year she applied) median 3.79 and 516. Easily looked over clinical hours as a special case considering her age.

it's not stated in canon but I believe in my heart that one of the reasons santos finds whitaker weird to live with is because she grew up on social media meanwhile his family shared one old desktop computer so they do not speak the same language at all despite being only a year or so apart in age. trinity is quoting vines on the reg like a true zillennial and dennis is going "what did you just say? what is 'yeet'?" like 3x/day and it makes her fucking crazy

they pass a "road work ahead" sign on their way to work so naturally trinity says "I sure hope it does" and dennis looks at her with such confusion that she threatens to push him out of her car while it's still moving

Langdon clocking Robby's agenda and not playing into it at the end of the season was a win. Not needing his approval, not caring for his opinion and not letting him talk down to him. Karma is a friend.

can i ask why you note abbot's name as abbot(t), lol? as far as i know the only thing that had his name misspelled with two t's was his season one badge but otherwise his name has always been abbot, one t. just curious haha 😆 love your posts, by the way!

Hah! Yes! I always thought it was Abbott based on the letter he wrote to the vets family in season one but his badge did also show it spelled with two t's.

I posted about him way before he came back at the end of the season so he was always tagged Abbott. Aaand then we saw in the finale where his backpack (and from the actors interviews) showed that it was actually Abbot. But I'll always be an Abbott truther because of the OG props so I compromised to write it as t(t) for however whoever reads prefers it to be. (+ thank you!)

Meadow in the morning ☘️

Today I had to be at work at 6 am. When I arrived at my bus stop, this beautiful sunrise landing on the meadow delighted my eyes. Sometimes I really want to live a little longer.

I want a really cracky large animal case for S3 or S4 of the Pitt.

A shark locked into biting someone's leg, or a tiger from a zoo, or something completely left field. Everyone working under pressure to get the animal's grip on the patient dislodged before the tranquillisers wear off.

An injured german shepherd that comes in with the police just before shift change and Robby tells Mel that this is NOT a vet clinic. Mel goes against Robby's order and treats the dog with Langdons (now attending) help.

At the end of the season she worries knowing she can't take the dog to her apartment and Langdon's wife tells him not to bring it in. They try to pitch the idea to all but nobody in the ER can take it.

...until Abbot(t) comes in for his night shift and leaves the next morning with his new dog.
