Deckard was so confused, but at least she didn’t seem to want to hurt him. He was so confused, it was hard to get anything straight.

Deckard had no idea why he had been grabbed off the street the way he was, but against that many people there was no amount of fighting that could have possibly saved him. By the time he was dumped in front of the woman, he had given up fighting, only curious what was happening to him. “What do you want with me?” He asked looking up at her. “Please don’t hurt me. I didn’t do anything, I swear.” Whatever they wanted with him, he was certain this was a mistake.

Riley had hoped he could appeal to her better side. He thought it was a fair deal, giving her sister a chance to earn back the money she owed. Clearly he was wrong and had to drastically rethink what he could offer her. “I’ll offer myself up. I’m an engineer. I’m sure you can find some use for me. I’ll work for you as long as you want me to. There has to be something I can offer that is of value to you.”

Juliet hadn’t known where else to go, she was desperate for a place to crash and hearing that her best friends brother had a spare bedroom, she hadn’t been able to resist the opportunity to at least ask for a favour. “No, but she mentioned you had a room. My landlord upped my rent and I can’t afford it anymore so I was hoping I could stay until I can find a place.” She explained, stepping inside and pulling her luggage behind her. “Yeah, she was going to call. Sorry.”

How could he say no to her? He had always had a pretty big crush on Juliet, and her showing up at his door desperate for help could easily have been the start of many of his fantasies he held when he was younger. Who didn’t want to be a knight in shining armor of some kind for a girl like Juliet? “It’s okay.” He said as he waved her in, reaching to help with her bag. “It’s not your fault.” Closing the door, he tried to quickly pick up a bit of the mess he had. “I’m happy to help. Just let me know what I can do for you. Please make yourself comfortable. My parents got me this apartment, so you know you’re free to stay as long as you like.”

Deckard answered the door only to be surprised to see Juliet. He didn’t live with his family anymore now that he was in college, so he couldn’t think of any reason that she might have come to see him. That is until he saw the luggage she was carrying. “Did my sister rent out my room without telling me? I should have known she’d do that.” He sighed heavily before realizing he was still standing in her way. “Sorry. Come on in. I didn’t mean to keep you waiting outside. It’s nice to see you again. I just wish a little warning from my sister. How have you been?”

“I don’t need someone as low down the food chain as your sister out on the streets. And having her locked away is much more fun.” Victoria said simply, raising an eyebrow. It would take a lot more than that to get her to waver on her punishments. “You really trust your sister enough to be collateral as she attempts to pay back the millions that she took from me? Honestly she should consider herself lucky to still be alive.”

This negotiation was not at all going the way Riley thought it might. It was becoming quite apparent just how little he knew about his sister’s predicament, as the heft price became apparent. “There has to be some kind of deal we can come to.” The truth was he didn’t trust her to pay Victoria back at all, but unfortunately he didn’t know what else he could do to secure his sister’s freedom. “She’s my sister. I promised my mother I would do everything in my power to keep her safe.” Riley was almost as broke as his sister, so paying Victoria off was not going to be possible. “Please just tell me what it would take. You have no idea how desperate I am to make this work.”

Stumbling out of her bedroom in a university crew neck and a pair of shorts, Lex throws a glare at Deckard. “I could only fucking hope”. Truth be told, the brunette has nowhere that she needs to be but it was better to keep routine than have the man asking difficult questions. Their conversations had always been brief, little information shared on her behalf. It was a deliberate effort. The less the man knew about her behaviours the better. “If you don’t get a wriggle on you’re going to be late again,” Alexandra prompts her room mate as she slips into the bathroom before him to brush her teeth. Today she intended to spend the day wandering the many bars of Boston in search for an easy feed. Men always tasted a little better with bourbon in their system.

Though Alexandra had a glare that could chill most people to the bone, Deckard managed to grin regardless. “Keep at it. I’m sure one of these days will work out for you.” He was probably pushing his luck with her, but he couldn’t help tease a little. “Right you are.” He nodded, moving quickly so he wouldn’t be late. He didn’t really have to go to his classes, but it was only respectful to the professors to show up, especially since some did take attendance.

Deckard started making enough breakfast for the two of them, even if he usually was left over eating alone. He smiled as he watched her stumble into the kitchen. Despite not bringing a guy home last night, She looked a little worse for wear though he would never dare to mention it. “I don’t think I’ve ever met any of your friends, or any strangers you brought home. I’m a nerd so it’s no surprise I don’t have anyone. What’s your excuse?”

Briar rose an eyebrow as she regarded him looking him up and down. “Well, first of all, you come over here and kiss me.” Virgins were her least favorite to deal with. But they always paid. And rocking their world was rather easy since they didn’t have anything to measure it against. Leaning back on the bed she rose an eyebrow as she gestured him forward. He’d booked the whole night and she wasn’t sure how long he would last. But may as well make the best of it.

It may not have been clear from the beginning but tonight was more about comparability than it was about the sex. Of course that was a large part of it, but if tonight went well, there was a good chance his father would have much greater plans for the two of them. Deckard couldn’t worry about that now, especially since he had far greater concerns on his mind, like making sure he didn’t completely humiliate himself. He hesitated only for a moment, biting his lip in anticipation. Leaning in he kissed her softly, enjoying the taste of her on his tongue. His hand reached behind her, sliding down to rest on her ass as he pulled her flush against him. Part of him hated that he had to resort to paying to get a woman like her, but part of him was glad just to have the opportunity to be with her at all.

It’s in the depths of sleep that Alexandra finds herself truly at peace. The dreams are all the same, the rules and routes the ones that she’s chosen. Her prey run from her, begging for mercy but it’s met with nothing but a murderous glance. It cracks beneath the force of it all but still retains the majority of it’s structural integrity. Deckard chuckled as she heard her roommate angrily struggle awake. He had been afraid that they might not get along when he first met her, but somehow they made it work. “That good of a dream?” He inquired as he stood by the door on his way to the bathroom. “One of these days, I swear you’re going to break that thing.” He has no idea how it survives the punishment that it does. Somehow it manages, which is good since he’s grown accustomed to relying on her to make sure he gets up.

“It always surprises me how strong you are.” He notes again with a shake of his head. Despite her lithe figure, she could produce an extraordinary amount of force, something the lean male could not match on his best days. “What’s your secret?” He asked half jokingly. Despite being roommates for a short time, he was constantly reminded how little he knew about her. All he knew was the rent was cheap, and that was all it had taken to get him to agree.

Somehow Riley doubted that she would consider doing anything out of the kindness of her heart. “Because you keeping my sister locked away won’t help you any. She’s so much more valuable working for you on the streets.” He knew it would come to this of course. There was no way he was going to get anything for nothing. “You can get me as collateral.” He was probably making a huge mistake since there was a good chance his sister would never be able to pay back the money she owed. “I should be enough to motivate her to stay in line.” He didn’t know what else he could offer since he had nothing else she couldn’t simply buy herself.

Of course Deckard knew that, but he still couldn’t help but feel extremely embarrassed it had come to this. “I’m sorry. Following the woman’s gesture he stepped closer to her, eyes looking up at hers expectantly. “Can you tell me what to do?” He asked hoping she would give him guidance so that he wouldn’t make a fool out of himself.

“I have nothing left here anyways.” He said quietly stepping into the passenger seat. It was a little strange not being in the driver seat, but at least wherever they were going, he’d have what he needed.

“You can’t take it, please! That car is all I have left.” Deckard had been struggling and the car was the only thing he had. “Let me come with you. You can go wherever you need. I’ll have nothing left if you take it.” Everything he owned was in the car since he had been jobless and homeless for a while.

“Give me your keys, or I will take them from you.” Jessica said. She needed to get out of town, fast, and since her car had been destroyed she needed to steal a new one.

Deckard handed over the keys quickly a little too worried to argue. “You can’t just leave me here.” He told the stranger, scared that she might actually abandon him so far from his house. At this hour he doubted he’d be able to get someone to take him home.

When Deckard heard he had been selected by the best sorority on campus, he was certainly confused. He had only been there once as part of his orientation, but apparently he had caught someone’s eye. He had no idea what they wanted with him, but he had been told so many times that it was an opportunity he couldn’t pass up. Though he didn’t have a full suit, he did put on a button up shirt and some slacks, hoping to impress as best he could. Ringing the doorbell he waited patiently surprised when the door finally opened. “Hi. I’m Deckard. I was told to come here this morning?” He said a little unsure, holding out his invitation to explain his presence.

They were a historic “will they, won’t they?” “we’re just friends” sorta situation that went on for ages. They were, after all, family friends, and the approval of Rylee’s parents wasn’t easy to come by, especially considering her long string of bad choices. So when her parents had to leave for the weekend, taking Piper with them on a college tour of Washington, they both agreed it was okay for her friend to stay over for the weekend. Rylee only had to promise–swear, really–not to throw any keggers.

Despite their many differences, Deckard really did get along with Rylee, even if his parent's weren't so quick to approve of her. They always saw her as a troublemaker, which was not entirely untrue, but Deckard needed someone to pull him out of his shell even if a little force was necessary. Luckily for him, Rylee did not seem to hesitate, which might explain why he kept coming to her. "I don't know... I've never really considered porn to be funny."

Still, he could never say no to her. He didn't even realize how dangerous this would be, especially with the way she was curled against him so close she would easily be able to feel him. He had always had a crush on her and he doubted he was able to hide it well. "Of course, I've seen it." He said a little too hastily. He had never lingered long, always feeling too guilty to continue, but it seemed like he definitely wasn't going to get out of it this time.
