Oh no, even her companion Pokemon wanted to say near her. Cottonee huh? That’s a strange Pokemon to get attached to him. Usually, it was the electric types that had that affinity since he didn’t all ways act fairy-like. Oh was this one being affectionate towards him, because he was a fairy type?

Awww both of them looked so sad… wait no, don’t feel bad just let her walk away Koko, let away. Just let her walk…

“Wait! Uh… I didn’t say that you know. Just that I was borning. So, I’ll try my best not to bore you or anything.” Ugh, Koko could already feel himself regretting his decision. Damn his conscience, why did he had to have one.

Her arms keep a soft hold of her cottonee the small fairytype seemed to perk up as soon as Koko seemed to change his mind.

“OH I don’t believe that! I don’t think any living creature could ever be considered Boring. Sure we have differences but that’s what makes life so beautiful.” She lets out a giggle.

Headcanon: Personality

Xerneas can be easy to get excited. New faces, and new surroundings can easily get her going. It’s easy for her to get lost in her own excitement and will approach anyone or anything that seems interested.

She LOVES new experiences, and loves meeting new pokemon even more. She is an overly friendly being and when she reaches for a friendship she does it with her whole heart.

However this is not the only side to her. Behind that hyper, and energetic being is someone that really adores and appreciates life.

She has a big heart, and does have a soft side to her. This is more frequently shown around other pokemon be it small, or massive.

Her gentle side does come out frequently once someone get’s past the excited and overly energetic part of her.

There is one more side to her that comes out and is reserved for specific moments. Her love of nature be it pokemon, and environments can make her a bit overly protective. If she see’s someone hurting a plant or even a pokemon her angry side will come out. One minute she will be all smiles, and the next she will be moon blasting the threat out of the area.

(Her anger go’s from 0 to 100 real fast especially when someone’s being disrespectful) She is the deer of life, and she takes her role in the world seriously. She loves life in all it’s form. Mess with that balance and regret will happen. She also has a habit of crying whenever a pokemon’s time has come. (tbh she HATES seeing them go even if it’s part of the cycle. Sure she KNOWS that’s part of the cycle but it still hurts a good amount)

Oh great this girl has already made up her mind and she was hell-bent on making him show her around the Island. And if he tried to run she was probably going to find him like a Pokemon who imprinted. Gotta find a way to convince her not to use him as a tour guide. Hmm, wait did she say she’s not human.

“Well, you see that’s too bad since I’m not…” wait no that excuse won’t work. Koko was going say he wasn’t human too but that would just make her go away she said she didn’t want things humans do right? Gotta think of something else.

“…I’m not that interesting. Yeah, people say that I only talk about one thing and it’s is muscles, and I don’t want to bore someone like you.” Ugh, it hurts because it was true.

Xerneas is still grinning wide but something about her seems to shift. Still cheerful but now she was quietly listening to him and what he had to say. Her smile softens a little once he is done and she shifts her attention to the cottonee who had moved over to koko.

“cookie please come back.” She speaks softly and opens her arms watching as it let out a cry of resistance before reluctantly going into her arms. It’s gaze shifts back up to koko once settled in the females arms.

“I don’t mind hearing those conversations... But I get it. You have a life and things to do.” She doesn’t sound sad by it, perhaps a little disappointed but she could get over it. She knew she could be a little over the top sometimes. It was a weakness of her.

“I’m sorry for bothering you. You seem like you must be busy so I can go away, but could you at least point me in the direction of some wild pokemon. I can ask them for help instead.”
