No Escape
A higher pitched whine breathed out of him with arms suddenly trapping him down. Joshua fussed a little bit in panic before looking up. Raising an eyebrow with his glasses a bit tilted. “W-hat are you doing??”
Joshua let out a little growl and had refrained from making another comment on it upon entering the establishment. His senses had collected the air and started to separate scents. He could smell all types of smokes from the grills themselves to a person smoking in the bathroom and also the amount of bodies that were in the restaurant. He almost lost track of Kodoma but he had caught him his sights as Kodoma was walking off. Joshua closely followed, almost slipping, to where the hell hound was sitting at. Sitting down hesitantly himself and staring at him. “So I take it you’ve been here many times?”
Piercing, emerald eyes fixed on the werewolf, eyeing him intently, almost as if he was trying to figure the man out. Joshua seemed quite withdrawn, which seemed a human enough trait. Kodoma wondered what traits he shared with his canine companions. Then again, it depended completely on which he related more to. Kodoma was a hound first and foremost, and he acted like one. Leaning back in his chair, he smiled at Joshua. “Yeah, quite a lot, ‘specially when I’m too lazy to hunt,” he said aloud, as if it the most normal thing.
"And I assume by your attendance here a lot means that you don’t hunt a lot…" He rose an eyebrow with a condescending smirk that only last for a moment before he sighed, having his face mold back into a slight frown and tired eyes. Joshua laid a hand on his own jaw and glanced out the window. "Then again I can’t fully judge. I used to hunt all of my meals though, Now I have to attend university.."
"Nah not really. I killed a deer this morning and I'm already debatin' what to hunt later.. True, I don't hunt as much as I used to, but when human's bring it to me, why should I?" Kodoma replied cooly, a smirk playing at his own lips. "And yer busy, hunting takes a lot of time. Though I have no fuckin' clue what a 'Uni-ver-sity' is," he paused, "I'm sure it keep ya busy."
