Hey, everyone, Mod Pastel after god knows how long! So, looks like I’ve got a lot of explaining to do.
Why the new blog name? Why didn’t you just change URLs?
Well, I wanted a fresh start to the blog. I was... around 16 years old when I first made the blog, I think? I did a lot of bad things as I was growing up, such as how I wrote Adeline’s assault and apparently milked it for Drama ™ and I was focused on getting attention and stuff like that. I was also inconsistent with my writing, changing things at a moment’s notice even if it contradicted something else. I’m not proud of it, but I want to move on and progress; I’m 20 now, but I still have a lot of growing to do, a lot of things to learn, but I feel like I’ve been doing better since I’ve started this blog. I’m not one that commits to things when I really should, hence why I’d update this blog with asks sporadically without a set schedule and then just let it die again. I feel like this time I could manage this if I really tried and I definitely want to share how much I’ve written for this universe since I’ve done a lot of thinking and writing behind the scenes. I just really wanted to start over in hopes of actually making this blog, this project, this universe, something that I can be proud of.
Also The Demons of Sin doesn’t just fit anymore as the universe got waaay bigger now LOL
What are you going to do now?
Same thing as always! Just answer asks and update whenever I have the time. I know, it’s irresponsible to still not have a set schedule, but hey, I’m a college student now with a busy family, personal problems, and other projects to work on. I’m human, give me a break!
But just because I don’t look productive, it doesn’t mean I’m not thinking about TDoS. If you know me personally, you’d know that all this time, I’ve actually been writing things down like character info, lore, and other world building aspects. The 7DS is a concept that I really love and I’d hate to let go of what I had made when it became much bigger than what the blog was initially supposed to be.
Where are you at nowadays?
I’m still on DeviantArt! I also have Twitter , Toyhou.se, Instagram (personal and art), and my main blog is @satanicpastel as well as @modpastel (mod blog has moved as well!)
I’m active on Discord as well, but I’m not active on skype (though I’ll still use it if I really need to); My discord is big pp power level#9802 (Don’t ask, it’s a joke username to match with my boyfriend LOL)
My discord username changes from time to time, so please DM me anywhere to ask for it when I change it again!
There’s people here that might be still following me, maybe not anymore, but if so, I’d like to reconnect. I dissociated from a few people here due to my mental health declining horribly back when I was 16-17, and I feel awful for that.
What about THIS blog’s inbox? What’s gonna happen to the other blogs?
I’ll still be answering the questions left in this blog’s inbox, they’re just going to be posted over on the new blog?
As for other blogs and this blog, I’m keeping it up as an archive!
Sooooo what’s the new blog name?
To fit the new expanded universe, the new blog is @into-the-otherworld and a new mod blog as well! The URL is still @modpastel as I have changed the original mod blog into “modpastelhasmoved” since I want a fresh start from that as well haha
That’s all I’ve gotta say for now, guys! I hope to be able to talk to others that I cut myself off from and to get TDoS off the ground once more!
