Mom Convinces Six Year Old Son He Has Cancer, Pockets Donations

Authorities say Sandy Nyugen of Arapahoe, Colo. told her son he had cancer, then fraudulently raised $25,000 "to help him"

There has been a lot of this "hoaxing" of illnesses to fill one's pockets lately, but this is hitting at an all new low. 

Sandy Nguyen convinced her son that he was dying of cancer.  Let that sync in for second.  Let it marinate.  Ok. Are you as incredulous as I?   Good.  That's despicable. It's terrible enough to pray on the sympathies of others, and it's quite another to let you own child believe he is dying and dragging him to benefits and what not.

So much for a normal childhood...

Woman microwaves kitten for five minutes — cat still alive with cooked organs dies agonizing death

I'm just not even sure how to go about this one.  Apparently, Briton Laura Cunliffe's cat attempted to kill her (beloved?) goldfish.  In retribution for the incident, Cunliffe deemed that the justifiable punishment for the cat would be to put her four month old cat, Mowgli, in the microwave!

Mowgli endured five minutes of suffering in this lady's microwave and then succumbed to her injuries shortly thereafter. 

Cunliffe suffers from depression, which evidently leads to sadism.  I wish her the best of luck...in prison.

Male Machismo, Thin Skin, And Shotgun Shells

People with thin skin who have firearms are a bad combination.   Take for instance the occasion when an advertisement featuring Megan Fox came on TV and you said something crass like:  "Oh, I would tap that..."  And your dad retorted "You wouldn't know what to even do with that."  Then you decided to shoot your father, while he showered, with a shotgun at point blank range.  Ok.  That wasn't you but it was how the story transpired between Jason and Jay Beckman.  I wasn't even making up the cheesy male machismo component of the story. 

People kill each other over nonsensical things.  And hear we have a testosterone fueled vendetta.  I would also suggest that perhaps the father and son relationship wasn't on secure ground.   But regardless, Jason Beckman is facing life in prison and where he is going, machismo will take on a new identity.

Not Worthy Of Fatherhood: Man Pays Another To Beat And Rape Daughter

Anthony Brinkman...hand over your 'Father Of The Year' T-Shirt.   You aren't going to be needing that any longer.  Your existence might as well be expunged from the analogs of humanity while we're at it

What kind of man creates an advertisement in Craig's List for a woman to beat and sodomize a girl?  And not just any girl mind you...his very own 11 year old daughter.

A deeply troubled and disturbed man is the answer.  A man whose level of buffoonery leads him to take Facebook photos while holding guns in a room where a ninja star hangs on the wall in the background.  It's that immaturity combined with a touch of sadism that lead Mr. Brinkman to drive 80 miles, with his daughter, to meet a prospective assailant.  Of course the alleged assailant wound up being an undercover police officer,  His little girl is so very lucky because who knows what may have happened to her..

Behemoth Son Grounded From Cell Phone, Kills Mom With Kitchen Pan

I wish I could say kids killing their parents (and vice versa for that matter) was a rare occurrence.  Sadly it is not.  This type of thing seems to happen on a weekly, if not daily basis.

Here we have a case of 16 year old child, Michael Helms, getting into an argument with his mother over some issue at school and as punishment having his cell phone taken away.

What makes Helms special (ahem) is that he is 6'6" and weighs 265lbs.  That is pretty sizable and he didn't take to losing his cell phone too well.  He grabbed a kitchen pan and a hammer and waited for his mother to come home.  When she arrived, he savagely beat his mother to death with these instruments in front of his friend, Christian Blakely.  Luckily Blakely was there to help....help his friend hide the mother's body in a storage shed out back. 

Helms was not through though.  He retained his instruments of death and waited for his step dad to come home.  He attacked his step dad but luckily the man was able to escape and call the police.

So what about this story was most disturbing to you?  Was it the reaction to the grounding?  Was it the premeditation (twice)?  Was it the friend helping to dispose the body?  All of the above.

Some fathers will do anything for their little girls, including digging a grave in their backyard, so that they can dispose of body parts.  Wait a minute...what?

Apparently, as a result of a very twisted love triangle, Jose Reyes was lured into the home by Daisy Gutierrez.  Gutierrez's boyfriend was laying in wait, killed Reyes with a pipe and a knife.  Reyes was then decapitated and dismembered. 

Mr. Gutierrez was then called to the scene to dig the grave and be the bag man as it were. 

Now I love my child, but if I ever get a call that goes as follows: "Dad.  Do you still have that shovel? I need you to come over and help dig a shallow grave."  The next visit he'll be getting is from the police.

Colo. man charged after beating raccoons

Yeah.  You hear a lot about revenge killings in other parts of the world but rarely in Colorado where a man sought justice for his beloved cat.  An unsightly gang of raccoons had killed his pet two years ago, and not a day went by where he didn't seek blood-for-blood.  

Richard Moller got his chance when he tracked the murdering raccoons back to a dumpster where he unleashed his fury upon them.  He killed one of the culprits with a "nail studded board".  

So lets recap:  1) An adult man held a grudge against raccoons for murdering his cat for two years 2) He identified these raccoons as the suspects in his cats murder 3) He then beat the raccoons with a nail studded board 4) He has been charged with Animal Cruelty

I question the sanity of people.

Religious man steals dead father's body from cemetery in hopes of resurrecting him 

A Detroit man stole his dead father's body from a graveyard because he thought he could bring him back to life. Deeply religious Vincent Bright, 48, dug up the corpse of 93-year-old Clarence Bright from the city's Gethsemane Cemetery on Jan. 14.

There's something odd about a truly religious man who thinks he has the power to bring his deceased father back from the dead.  I think there is some irony to be found there.   

One thing this story does not detail is how long his father had been dead. And while there is no right time to dig up a body, there certainly is a much worse time to pick up the shovel. 

Apparently the cops were tipped off by Mr. Bright's family as they had become concerned.  Because while we all mourn in different ways, there are ways we van go overboard.

Some may find this creepy (ok, everyone should find this creepy) that Julio Antonio Yanez has broken into the homes of five women, gotten into bed with them and conducted a "back rub".  This, however, did not relax his victims (subjects).  Apparently unsolicited back rubs in someone else's bed to which you were not invited is frowned upon.  Go figure.   The bandit has been secured by the authorities on a $2000 bond (what?  really?...$2000?)  Geez...lets wait 'til he becomes more dangerous.

Man Charged With Murdering Wife After She Refused Him Sex

Is it any wonder this woman wanted a divorce?  Kurtis Worley, in a drunken fury, asks his soon to be ex-wife for sex one last time, as though he was entitled.  Then when he is refused, he stabs her repeatedly in the head and kills her.  

Also not to be lost in the story is his stepson, when hearing his mother's cries, rushes to her aid.  He tries to fight his stepfather off and winds up getting stabbed in the throat and is in critical condition at the local hospital.

This is a product of the human condition that we're in as a society.  We are over indulgent on everything.  In this case alcohol played a role.  But in another case it will be something entirely different.  

I pray for the victims in this family and for healing for the son.

You would be upset too if you didn't get the singing credit you deserved.  This kid is going to be a star!  Or so he thought.  Evidentally others thought otherwise, which provoked young (?)  Isaiah to throw blows.

When I see a picture like this my heart absolutely breaks.  As the story goes, the woman did not want to marry the local troublemaker but in refusing his proposal she enraged the man who came back to her house.  He and his seven cohorts then began to beat the family and pur acid all over them. My prayers are with these girls whose lives have been forever altered.

There is something truly ironic with someone defending their family's honor by bludgeoning someone with a hammer until they die.  Maybe that's just me...

Evidentially, Andrew Iskandar (pictured) grew tired of his mother's affair with a Mr. Saemin.  He decided the correct tool to fix the problem was a hammer.  A witness said they saw Andrew beating his victim as though it was a piece of meat. 

His mother then covered up the crime and helped Andrew escape to Singapore.  I keep repeating in my head..."Honor Killing?...Really?"   I guess it's a good thing I can't associate.

The world is a most cruel place and I try to spend most of my time in a positive mind set.  This story however makes it impossible.   

There really needs to be a parenting license, because this man shouldn't have been allowed anywhere near a child.  

Christopher Valdez dies ON HIS BIRTHDAY of blunt force and trauma and prolonged child abuse.  Cesar (pictured) is charged with his murder and Christopher's MOM is charged with being complicit to the murder and covering it up.

I am sending a prayer up for Christopher right now!

Well, the recently widowed, Ms. Bibi thought she would be proactive dealing with her former husband, Abbas. Evidentally the aforementioned, Abbas was making lude sexual advances or suggestions about Ms. Bibi's daughter.  

In order to prevent the impending assault, Bibi drugged the man, chopped him up into pieces, and cooked him.   She said cooking the body in classic spices made the smell more tolerable.

Yeah.  I can see that.  (Speechless)

This is another one of those stories.  I am not trying to walk in Holder's shoes but this seems like a woman who felt jilted by her ex-lover and just went completely haywire. 

She decided after having a conversation with her ex-lover that her only recourse was to take the lives of her own children and some one else's as well.  Then she did the ever popular thing, and shoot herself. 

Mind boggling...what could that conversation included that would incite a woman to kill her own children?  

Tragedy.  My prayers are with the family.
