I noticed the way my friend, Ryan, seemed to talk to everyone without a care in the world, the way he gets along perfectly with my cousins in high school as well as my cousins still in elementary school and even in kindergarten, and how he makes both parties laugh as much with everything he does. By the way he immediately talks to Isaac, the son of a waiter of his rich uncle, as if he’s been his best friend for years it’s so obvious his interests don’t come in quantity. It’s easy to see he doesn’t mind many things and he enjoys just about anything. He jumps from one side to the other and doesn’t question for a second when someone needs help and with this, you can see he’s a genuine person and one of the most kindhearted people there are, as well as the funniest as he doesn’t quit in his journey to make someone laugh.

It’s sad to think, though, that all of this I do not actually notice until many years later. I am blind to all these facts about him for the longest time, and it takes me far too much time to come to realize that I have seen him smile not once.
