Yana’s art improvement 2006 → 2017 (ch2 → ch129)

In this tweet from June 17, Yana (who is usually extremey self-critical) FINALLY realised and admitted that her art has improved (a lot) over the years:

“When I drew this month’s chapter I created a scene that references a scene from ch2 (vol.1), so I reread the first volume thoroughly and thought ‘Even if one doesn’t realise it usually, it seems every human being gradually makes progress’. I’m touched. -Toboso.”

To be honest Ms.Toboso is a wonderful inspiration to me because how amazingly she improves her art in every chapter, so it’s kind of a “if she can do it, I can do it to” kind of thing, so I’m very thankful for her art and how beautifully it’s draw, she goes as far as making the patterns on curtains, bed linens, tiles. Even on the architecture from places that no longer exist (glass museum). Honestly she blows my mind
