Floodgates

Once you unclog your mind and shake off the shackles of silence that you bound your voice with your fingers will itch to get all the words out. Frantic words fluttering around like crazed sparrows inside your head. An endless garden that you finally found the keys to unlock. A personal private paradise. The inkwells pumping through your veins and the mana drifting down from skies filled with twilight. Pink clouds and lavender dusk, still waters and raving storms at your mercy. Freedom on wings you no longer need to seek out, to touch to know they're there because you can fall without fear. The needles you can thread to stitch all those dreams your were so scared of. Tacking them to the firmament with stars and moon and poetic justice. You're back on the path, blistered soles and bruised feet but it's too glorious to give up the journey now.
