OLTL Heats Up... just in time for the season to end.
How gorgeous does Laura Harrier look in that black and white dress? And am I the only one who LOVES Arturo and Dani together?
Meanwhile, there's finally a plot and the season's about to wrap, likely with no resolutions. Oh well. At least the Todds are gone.
AMC: The Confrontation Five Years in the Making. AND IT HAPPENED OFF-SCREEN.
"Enough! My study. NOW," Adam Chandler said to his son, JR, who was regressing to his old behavior after cursing out stepmom Brooke. Surely this would be the powerhouse scene we've been waiting for.
Except the actual scene in the study happened off-screen. REALLY? You have the amazing David Canary with the talented Ryan Bittle, who have yet to share a real scene together, and you skip the scene that shows us their troubled father/son dynamic?
THUMBS DOWN, AMC.
OLTL: The Big Bad Revealed?! SPOILERS

DAY-UM. Jeffrey King is working for the tattoo people! I was actually not expecting that, but I hope he's not all bad. Corbin Bleu is one of the best new cast members on the show.
So... what do you guys think? Is there more to this story?
GH: Danny Just Became the Most Powerful Person in Port Charles (spoilers)
OMG you guys, do your realize that as of today, Danny Morgan is part-Quartermaine, part-Cassadine and part-JEROME? At the end of today's episode, Ava (who's quickly becoming my FAV...a) greeted Derek Wells, Connie's "boss," as JULIAN! Alexis had a one-night-stand with a guy whose name starts with J. JULIAN JEROME, people! Sam's father is Julian Jerome, making Danny a likely heir to like three fortunes.
That being said, is this the Julian Jerome that Duke and Anna know? Is this a different Julian Jerome from the same family? I'm going to guess that it's THE Julian Jerome.
So...I'm going to assume that eventually Lucas Jones, the biological son of Julian Jerome adopted and raised by Bobbie Spencer, will come to town to deal with his daddy issues. This story could be massive, especially when you consider that the entire cast is now involved.
BRAVO, Cartini. Bravo.
GH: Brad is a prick.

Soaps' first love-to-hate gay is a hit in my opinion. What do you guys think?
AMC: Look, Ma! No censors!
Major kudos are in order for everyone involved in the Cassandra story on AMC. I once complained that the sex trafficking stuff was bordering on poor taste, but the fallout and payoff from those early, harrowing scenes has been phenomenal. I got goosebumps when Colby shed her plastic skin and proved she was a real person, not only being a good friend to Cassandra but also showing great compassion and treating her like the strong woman she knows her BFF to be.
And I'm glad Cass went through with the abortion. Had Angie rushed in and screamed "NOOO!!!!" and stopped the procedure with hysterics, the story would ring false. Yes, Angie's lost so much in her life, and she did find Cassandra as an abandoned baby and give her a wonderful life, but this situation is different. Colby helped Cassandra realize that she didn't owe anyone an explanation or require approval to terminate the pregnancy. It was done in a frank, honest manner and I'm really glad they went through with it. The show certainly didn't have these cojones back on ABC toward the end.
But hey, this is a soap. So when we got through with the social issue stuff, we got this great exchange:

OLTL: There's Something About Michelle

At this point it's becoming pretty obvious that we're not supposed to like Michelle, Matthew's Catfish-cum-Real girlfriend... right?! I mean, the writers don't REALLY expect us to like this chick who has so far passed judgment on everyone, lied through her teeth about the tiniest details, claimed to be virginal and then jumped Matthew's bones and is now calling Dani a sugar baby, right?
If she doesn't try to kill Jeffrey, drug Dani or kidnap Drew within two months time I'm throwing up my hands up in the air. It's been a while since we had a good Fatal Attraction story; I just hope TPTB see it...

Glee Star Cory Monteith Dead at 31
Thoughts and prayers go out to the friends and family of Cory Monteith, who died yesterday at the age of 31. Monteith had just left drug rehab a few weeks ago. He filled kids' hearts with glee, and we'll miss him terribly.

Seriously, Who Cares About Briana Marland? OLTL Recap Week 11
What Happened
Bo continued to investigate the murder of off-screen drug dealer Briana Marland and met a suspicious older man...WITH THE MYSTERY TATTOO!
Dani bonded with Arturo while helping sort out Briana Marland's stuff. Seriously.
But she was surprised when the cleaning lady at the Palace Hotel turned out to be Michelle, Matthew's Canadian Internet squeeze!
Later, Michelle confessed to Matthew, who didn't seem to mind. Dani felt dejected, blah blah blah.
Natalie played footsie with Cutter while Destiny and Jeffrey played awkward. Nat and Cut later agreed to have a grown-up date.
David made out with Rama at Shelter and Dorian caught them.
Viki and Clint continued to have tension. Sigh.
Todd and Blair grew closer.
Jack slept with Kate again, but she got weirded out when she found out he had a bodyguard (Shawn). THAT'S what weirded her out?
FAVE MOMENT: I still can't believe I'm saying this, but that goofy grin on Jack's face every time he hooks up with his teacher is brilliant. It's the most fun story on the show right now.
LEAST FAVE MOMENT: I'm bundling a bunch into one. BRIANA MARLAND.
WTF MOMENT: David would never cheat on Dorian. They've been through too much. And he's not smart enough. Grr...
When Simple Plans Require A Whole Episode of Exposition: AMC Recap Week 11
What Happened
Cassandra reeled from the news of her pregnancy, while Angie told David that she hopes Cassandra keeps the baby.
Jesse arrived in time to see David hug Angie, arguments ensued.
Zach was cleared of all charges and promptly hooked up with Lea... who dumped him after realizing he wasn't over Kendall.
Pete hung out with AJ, Miranda and Heather and showed them his new app, but Heather gave him the death stare over his treatment of Celia.
Speaking of the naive little trollop, Colby asked Celia to "help" plan a big launch party for Brooke's show, then stole Celia's "genius" idea to make it a charity event.
JR surprised Cara with a visit from her mom and son, Oliver. They came up with a hair-brained scheme to rename her mom Carmen and pretend that she's the new Chandler cook so Cara can spend time with the kid. Yeah, that's not two seconds from blowing up in their faces or anything....
AJ was upset when he saw JR playing with Oliver and JR apologized with a pair of Rolling Stones tickets.
Dimitri wined and dined Brooke.
Kendall's deathly ill and told Bianca she doesn't want Zach to know. WHAT THE WHAT?!
FAVE MOMENT: The Kendall and Bianca scene was fantastic. More of that, please!
LEAST FAVE MOMENT: On what planet does JR and Cara's plan sound like a good idea?
WTF Moment: Everyone acting like they'd never heard of a party that doubled as a charity event. "Genius."

What Happened
Dorian got stuck with her foot in her mouth when Viki (who was dining with Nora) told her the Pellegrino fund fiasco was averted.
David flirted with Rama and told her he wanted to be her next date (are you effing serious right now?!)
Destiny and Natalie acted like schoolgirls and Destiny got a tattoo.
Natalie and Clint made nice.
Destiny asked Jeffrey to be her "double-date."
Nora helped a panicked woman on her podcast.
Danielle was jealous of Matthew's internet girlfriend Michelle and danced with the half-sleazy, half-charming Arturo Bandini before breaking the news that off-screen murder victim/drug dealer Briana Marland was sleeping with ANOTHER older man.
Speaking of older, they finally revealed why they didn't age Jack like the rest of the kids when he and coffee shop hookup/summer school teacher Kate stealth-flirted all through class and made out after.
Oh, and Todd/Blair/Tea decided to fake Victor's death, all while chewing scenery.
FAVE MOMENT: Jack squirming in his seat watching his sexy teacher "teach," followed by their little make-out session after.

What Happened
David did his much-anticipated interview with Brooke for her web series (meta much?) and all that came of it was Cara realizing that she went from one potential nut to another (JR).
Cara apologized to David for the "abortion," which was poignant until....
David got into an argument with JR, who's been taking more 'roids. Waiting for the rage to come!
AJ and Miranda continued their Dawson/Joey thang.
Dixie and Doc Anders revealed that Cassandra's pregnant, while Anders acted more and more like someone with a social disability.
Jesse hit Uri and then got beaten up by the Russian Minions, while Lea remembered she is an FBI agent and started to unravel Jesse's lies.
Angie told Cassandra about her pregnancy. :-(
FAVE MOMENT: Cassandra has an appropriate reaction when Angie delivers the news, first thinking she has a disease, then looking suitably stunned that she's pregnant.
LEAST FAVE MOMENT: AJ and Miranda are starting to bore me with their Hunter melodrama. The two of them are from mega-rich and powerful families, start acting like it! More Stevie Steel as Heather, please!
WTF Moment: Jesse calls a meeting with Uri to tell him about Cassandra's pregnancy. The only reason I can think of for this stupid scene was to beat Jesse up.
"Save your Internet diploma analysis!" AMC Recap, Week 9
What Happened
Petey told Colby he only wanted to be friends with benefits, so she slept with David. Oh, she also called Dimitri "Eurotrash Royalty!"
Cassandra's hospital room continued to be the social hotspot and only room of Pine Valley Hospital; Dr. Anders was rude to Angie, who promptly wiped the floor with him.
AJ got beaten up by Hunter and the other rich white boys for defending Miranda's honor but was saved by Billy Clyde Tuggle, who realized he just saved Dixie's grandson!
Dixie had a fight with David in which he FINALLY noted how weird it was that she's a therapist. "Save your Internet diploma analysis!" he snarked.
Dr. Anders and Dixie were relieved that Cassandra doesn't have HIV or any other STIs but were distressed to find that....CLIFFHANGER!
FAVE MOMENT: Billy Clyde Tuggle saves Miranda and AJ from the bullies and realizes who AJ is.
LEAST FAVE MOMENT: In real life, Dr. Anders would NEVER be assigned to a case like Cassandra's with a bedside manner like that.
WTF Moment: Jane had a weird moment by the window with her cell phone (which had a cute case!). Is she FINALLY getting a story?!
Mary Kay Letourneau Arrives In Llanview: OLTL Recap, Week 9
What Happened
Viki and Clint had a massive fight about Natalie and Clint's manipulations until Clint spilled that the Pellegrino fund sitch had been solved and Viki was clear. She's still pissed!
We met Arturo Bandini, on-screen sugar daddy of off-screen dead drug dealer Brianna Marland, who held a clutch funeral for the off-screen chick and made flirty eyes with Dani.
Blair, Tea and Todd shrieked and chewed scenery while searching for Victor, who may or may not be sending Tea sexts texts.
Matthew met Michelle, who lives in Llanview. She's got the personality of Hannah and the looks of GH's Ellie.
Jack had anonymous sex with a hot woman he met at the coffee shop...who turned out to be his summer school teacher!
FAVE MOMENT: Jack realizes that hookup Kate is his summer English teacher!
LEAST FAVE MOMENT: Todd, Blair and Tea shrieking and breaking things.
WTF MOMENT: Who holds a funeral at a nightclub?!
Sigh. Another one bites the dust...
