For the longest time I have been wanting to try Dia&Co. I have only ever done one other subscription box sort of thing and that was Ipsy which I absolutely loved. I remember just scrolling through my Facebook feed and noticed a video with that for whatever reason caught my attention and I am most certainly glad it did. It was an ad for Dia&Co but at the same time it was more of a motivational video, nearly moving me to tears as it had to several plus size women in the video talking about how hard growing up had been being a plus size girl. All my life I have always been rather heavy set as well as rather tall, even in early elementary years people were questioning if I was even in the right grade because I looked so much older with my height and weight. As a teenager it was always hard to find nice form fitting clothing or even clothing that accommodated my height. Even now as an adult I find it really hard to find clothes, especially with living in such a podunk area with not many stores around that carry nice plus size clothing. After watching the Dia&Co video I was so excited to be able to find clothes I could wear and love, as well as the fact I could try them at home and not some stuffy dressing room.
For those of you who do not know what Dia&Co is, its a $20 monthly subscription box for plus size clothing. After you fill out an extensive questionnaire about your style, sizing, etc you are then assigned a Dia Stylist. From then on every month you receive a box with five pieces inside, depending on what you picked in the questionnaire you could get clothing only or clothing and accessories or maybe just accessories if that’s all you wanted. After receiving your box you get five days to try on the clothing and decide if you want to purchase any of them before sending them back with the prepaid packaging they include in the box. You get to set your price range when setting it all up, the lowest being $50. With each box you also receive a letter written by the Stylist as well as a list of what each item is and how much it costs. If you decide to buy an item your $20 goes towards that purchase, if you decide to buy it all your $20 and an extra 20% off go into the purchase.
Harper Crossbody/Holden Sleeveless Top
When I saw the black top I got really excited because it was something I could wear to work since I am ALWAYS at work it seems. However as soon as I attempted to slip it on my excitement simmered somewhat. Its an adorable top however it is a bit snug on my chest as well as down at my hips. I feel like if i wore it to work I would be fighting with it alot. The undershirt portion of it was also a type of spanx fabric that sucked it all in which was nice however it was very slick and I was waiting for my work pants to slip right off. The purse was ABSOLUTELY adorable and I really loved the feel of the material, very soft and well made. I’m also a sucker for gold and all the metal bits were a shiny gold. The only downfall to it was that I couldn’t just open the flap and reach in, I had to open the flap and unzip it at the very top of the flap which felt a little awkward while wearing the purse. The purse was also a little high on me and I’m used to having purses that hang lower. Which it looks good, just not what I am used to.
Raquel Waistcoat
I REALLY loved this and thought it was super cute however it did make me a bit more..square? I already have a very tough square shape and this just seemed to add to it, especially if I had my arms out.It was super comfy and I always love a good cardigan, it would definitely be good for the fall when the cold starts rolling it. It’s also something I could wear to work! I do like how it looks from the back as well.
Palley Top
I honestly wasn’t too impressed with this shirt. The fabric was soft and the shirt was long enough which is always a hard find, however for the price I feel like I could get this somewhere else ALOT cheaper. It’s definitely good for just going out and being comfy with friends and chillin. It does also seem to have a sporty feel to it.
Claire Dress
THIS by far was my favorite piece from the entire box, oh my word. I love dresses, especially if they are long enough with me being so tall. The fabric of it is amazing and super comfy, the type of fabric that always feels nice and cool so you know you will be good when the summer heat rolls in. The only thing I do have a wee bit of a problem with is the belt. I am very iffy when it comes to thin belts and sometimes they work, sometimes not. This belt kinda does but I definitely will be investing in a thicker white belt, as well as a denim jacket to go over the top.
Parting Thoughts
All in all I say this was a good box. As the first one it is very much so a trial and error, from here on the stylist and I will communicate with one another so fit future boxes more towards my likes. I was a little disappointed because in all other unboxings I have seen and read the stylists have emailed and set up a time to talk on the phone before the first box is sent. This never happened with me which I wish would have happened, I feel like this first box might have been more spot on but none the less I still enjoyed it. In the end I ended up purchasing the dress only and sending the rest back, so my $20 was spent very well! I look forward to my future boxes and also plan on doing reviews for them, I am going to try and switch over to doing video unboxings and reviews however I need to get all my supplies first.

Got the shipment email!! Really surprised to see it seeing as I was first notified or wouldn't be here until around the 11th. I was planning on doing a video review but I don't have all my equipment for that yet seeing as the box will be early so I will be writing the review with pictures of me with the articles of clothing within. I'm really excited and kinda nervous. I really hope everything fits well!
