Imagine finding the Doctor looking a little lost and lonely, sitting in a cafe after Doomsday, and buying him a coffee.
Aww, feelsy 10! Right away! Here goes!Rainy day. Ugh. You hated rainy days. They always made you so depressed and tired. Although, it did make the city you lived in look very beautiful. You decided to visit your favorite coffee shop downtown and get a cup of coffee to wake you up. You opened the door to the shop and the bell rings. A woman greeted you from behind the counter. You wave to her and started to order. "Alright, I got your mocha on here. Hot, right?" She asks."Yep!" You smile. As she works on her register, she looks up at a man who seemed really sad and depressed. He was sitting down beside the window and resting his arms on the table, his head hung low."He's still here... After 3 hours, still here. Something's wrong with him." She whispers."What's up?" You ask, raising a brow."That guy over there. Poor thing... I guess he got a bad heartbreak." She shrugs.Without any hesitation, you turn to the woman and say,"I'd like to add one more hot mocha, please."Once you got your coffee's, you walk over to the man, who's eyes were heavy and full of sorrow, and smile at him."Hey... I know I'm a complete stranger... but... I just wanted to... bring you something to... perk you up a bit... here..." You sat down the cup in front of him. He blinked a couple times and looked up at you. "O-oh.... erm... thank you..." He picked up the cup and sipped it. You didn't know if you should stay or not, so you just walked over to another table, but you were stopped by a voice. "No! Please!... come, sit with me." It was that man, inviting you to sit with him. You stood there in hesitation, but accepted the invite and sat with him. This man was sweet. Nice. You couldn't understand why he seemed so blue. You decided not to go there and just remained in his company. You talked for hours and enjoyed each other's presence. At last, it was time to part and you had to say goodbye. You stood outside the coffee shop with him and you saw the sadness in his face return. "You remind me so much of a friend I had..." he said to you. "Her name was Rose... I... lost her..." his voice got quiet. "That's why I'm so...so..." his voice cut out. He was holding back tears. "It's okay! Y-You don't have to tell me..." You try to cheer him up. "Sorry. I'm sorry..." he apologized. "Anyway... I hope I get to see you again." He tried to divert the conversation from the pain. "Yeah... me too." You respond with a warm smile. "...I guess this is goodbye, yes?" He looks you in the eye. "Well, I suppose... for now... well, buh-bye!" You waved as you ran off into the night. At least there was a little more warmth in this man's two hearts.
