Not dead just currently handless
this is still so fucking funny. this guy popped out the ground and was Assigned Chad At Birth for no goddamn reason. meanwhile minimus came out and they were like 'look at this manlet jesus christ'. i would also develop untold neuroses IMMEDIATELY
((I keep getting tempted to revive more and more of my transformers rp blogs when im such low activity already on the two that ive got-))
As soon as he caught wind that Minimus was free of the parasite, Dominus was there almost instantaneously. He'd rolled to the medbay as fast as his chair could take him. He was worried, and the worries weren't exactly eased by seeing his brother's poor physical state...he never should have left his side.
(@thedominantambus)
@thedominantambus
He was thankfully he’d bed this time when Dominus had arrived. He’d spent his day walking out when he shouldn’t, talking to mechs he probably shouldn’t have either, and yet, nothing else seemed to matter in that moment when Dominus rounded the corner into the med bay’s room. Optics softened, vocalizer hushed, a soft tone of desperation in the lawmech’s voice.
“Dominus..?”
Minimus moved swiftly despite the searing pain, nearly stumbling onto to catch himself on the edge of his berth before he made a slow walk to his spark brother. He’d remembered what he’d happened, what Dominus had to do to get himself away from the Dire wraith earlier, and as guilt flooded his spark, so did the coolant threatening to spill from his optics.
There were plenty of worries on Dominus' mind as he came in. He had no idea what all the wretched parasite - or the methods of removing said parasite - had done to him. He couldn't help but consider worst-case scenarios...and while most of those ended up not being true, he wouldn't really consider himself relieved by the sight of the injuries. It was good to see that Minimus was well enough to be awake at least...wait, hang on. Why is he getting up.
"I-- what do you think you're doing, lay back down!!"
Wheelchair or not, he's going to carry his brother back to his berth, meeting Minimus halfway in his chair as he attempted to walk to him. He scoops him up, carefully as not to injure him, and puts him right back where he's just been laying. Dominus parks his chair right next to the berth to be as near as possible.
"Alright...now we can talk. You're in no shape to be walking around, brother..."

Pedesteps were drawing to a close towards Dominus's habsuite, It might have been a familiar feeling for the mech on the other side of the door for Minimus to come visit in suit when he was still on his working shift hours, but something about the gait seemed...Different. Slow and thundering, heavy tentacle-like appendages seemed to drag themselves across the floor the closer he'd got. Internally, Minimus pleaded, and the wraith did not answer. Instead, the creature's maw began to open and claws delicately slid across the closed door.
"Brother? Brother are you there? I think something is wrong, but i'm not sure what...Oh please Dominus, I'm feeling terrible right now."
The creature did its best to imitate Magnus's mannerisms, something he'd been learning for nearly a deca cycle, all of his planning had come down to this. DIre Mags could feel his unwanted visitor inside his inner frame shiver, but it was about the only thing he could do now, he had complete control, after all.
biggest-ultra-mags:
Damn, this little mech was fast. Tendrils smashed into the metal floor just mere inches from where Dominus once stood, the massive monster of a mech, framed body twisting quickly around to try and keep those optics trained on his quickly moving target.
"YOU WILL NOT WIN THIS FIGHT, DOMINUS AMBUS!!" Once again those tendrils took off in the direction he'd slid, skittering and smashing away the debris left in the creature's wake. He was slow, but what he lacked in speed he had in strength, those bullet blasts seemed to only set the monstrous enforcer back for a few seconds before those injured plates seemed to rotate and shift, producing a fresh new side to the metal pieces, and now there was six very angry optics all trained on the mech hidden behind his desk. Bullets ricocheted off the tendrils as they slithered on, stabbing through the desk, wood splintering everywhere. "You are not Vos, you are but a mere pet, a creature who's purpose was to serve, and serve me you shall, little turbo fox. Either you take my form and work under my leadership, or you die, and I will ensure that it is incredibly painful.." Steam bellowed out of the massive creature and quickly filled the room with a strong, fog-like haze, only those bright optics seemed to cut through the dense fog lifting into the air around the two mechs. He was angry, and now, he meant business. But so did Dominus too, it seemed. Hunched at the ready, Dire Magnus eyed the massive gun resting in the other mech's hands. "I'll give you plenty of reasons to be afraid." He sprinted forward with thunderous steps that shook the entire room, blast after blast into his chest plating seemed to stagger the snarling creature but it just didn't seem to be enough. That massive maw seemed to dislocated and separate with a sickening squelch, energon drooling down his cheeks. Fire raged inside the dire wraith's belly and with a hiss and a screech of anger at another laser blast scratched his side, a single but strong beam of light shot past that gaping maw aimed directly at the rest of the table, sending s rocketing explosion of wood and metal and fire that quickly caught the room around them in the overwhelming heat.
He didn't know if he'd hit Dominus from behind the table, but it didn't matter now, he was ready to fight regardless if Dominus lay dead or alive in the rubble of the crumbling, debris filled room. HIs shadow only seemed to loom over the wreckage, optics darting this way and that to scan for the former DJD member. "You think your petty little weaponry can take me down? you'd be sadly mistaken, Dominus. You haven't seen everything that I can do just quite yet. But you will, and you'll regret ever firing at me."
---
That was too close. He'd narrowly been missed by the tentacle crashing through the desk, and now his visibility was down...he was listening carefully to every movement, feeling the vibrations in the ground when the other moved, trying to pay attention to every little detail even more so now that he couldn't see anything.
"Minimus, I know you're inside this somewhere. So if you can hear me in there...this was not what I had in mind when I said we needed to 'spend more time together'."
A hiss of pain came from the turbofox - he'd managed to avoid most of the blast, but a searing pain was coming from his leg. He must have gotten grazed by it, or maybe even just been way too close. The heat and force of the explosion didn't go unnoticed at all either…his poor hab's gonna need a complete overhaul.
He listened to the wraith try to discredit him, to threaten him. Listen in the sense that it enters his audio processors, not in the sense that he took any of it too seriously.
"…hm. You may be right about one thing. I wasn't a DJD member."
His firepower seemed to be doing less and less to keep the other back. If he couldn't keep attacking him at a distance...it might be time to try something stupid. Dominus does his best to silently move away under cover of fog...
"I was two."
The sound of metal plates shifting came from a far corner of the room.
"And if it's a pet you want...I'll show you a Pet."
As soon as he transformed, some residual Pet instincts start to kick in, and while usually he'd be fighting them, this time they might just be his last resort. His beast mode had it's own built in weapons, and whether it was a good idea or not...he was gonna use them.
Dominus arrived today!! Him and his brother are finally reunited!! ))

Getting through this doorways was hell for the fire wraith, but what lie beyond it might have been considerably worse. The angered Dire Wraith seemed to squirm his way in with tentacles thrashing to and fro, scanning the room instantly for his target. It had taken him mere seconds for those six optics to lock on to the target, but in those seconds it seemed Dominus too, had been prepared. “Why you little—!” Dominus’s gun was twisted and loaded with surprising speed, Minimus inside would have been both surprised and impressed (and of course a little angry) by the way he’d handled his weaponry, but this was hopefully his saving grace for Dominus to beat the monster back and away from his brother. The shots rang out and echoed against the hab’s walls and bullets sank into metal, causing dire Magnus to screech and slam into one of the corner walls, tendrils frantically regaining their sense of balance and shooting off towards Dominus. “I will NOT let you leave this room Dominus—! You brother will watch as I dismember you, part by part—!” Another few shots buried into his plating and he screeched once more, but this time, the mech was lunging forwards towards the much smaller mech with clawed servos drawn and a maw nearly unhinged with scraggly bared teeth pointed his way.
---
With his legs and remaining crutch, he pushed off the wall and slid underneath Dire Magnus between his legs, narrowly avoiding the attack. He didn't cease fire for more than a second as he passed under, quickly reloading in the process.
"I don't think you know who I am."
Pulling himself to his feet again, he knocks over his desk, using it as some temporary cover as he continues to pelt the other's frame with bullets, switching aim toward the tentacles occasionally should they get too close for comfort.
"I am Dominus Ambus. More importantly for you right now, I am Vos. I have killed bigger mechs than you in worse ways than you could even hope to manage yourself. I rode with the worst of them for cycles. And right now?"
With another flick of his left wrist this time, his other crutch became a second, identical but mirrored rifle. Dominus sticks the two weapons together, and they combine with a click. This larger singular weapon no longer fired bullets. Instead, it spat out energon blasts that could fire a bit less frequently, but with more punch to them than the small shells.
"Right now, you have put yourself between a founding member of the Decepticon Justice Division, and his brother. So go on."
His optics narrowed into a steeled glare pointed right at the wraith.
"Give me a reason to be afraid."

Dire Magnus waited, hearing that voice that while unknown to him, had the little load bearer inside suddenly jolting, their intertwined commlinks revealed that Minimus had been screaming and rightfully so; this was not going to be pretty. ::Doo-nt y--ou --DAR--E HUR---T HI--M--!!:: ::Be silent, Minimus. Can't you see I'm trying to greet your brother like a gentlemen.:: Minimus had prayed that Dominus wouldn't answer, that maybe perhaps he'd be silent and the wraith would grow bored of waiting and leave, but then, audials picked up his brother's voice and that disgusting, jagged smile was back, metallic tendrils skittering excitedly across the floor. Perfect, thins was going to be perfect. Dire Magnus didn't even wait for the door to fully open, his tendrils had outstretched and snatched the door that was slowly sliding open, smashing the metal and shoving it the rest of the way open with a sickening crunch. Heavy pedes moved and Minimus struggled, that malformed frame shivered and shook, it was amusing seeing his host fight back. "Dominus, there you are, Minimus has been looking everywhere for you." Dire Magnus crooned and ducked his way in, those tentacles rabid, filing into the room as more and more of his frame crept into view.
"In fact he won't shut up about you, he's been trying to fight back ever since I'd made my way over for a visit. Pesky little thing, you and him must be very alike i'd assume. And small, I absolutely adore little snacks like you before my main course."
---
Dominus knew his suspicions were well-founded as soon as the door started to open. The shadow the beast cast was wrong, and as he forced his way inside, it became obvious just how wrong. If Minimus was trapped inside this thing...
Oh Minimus, what have you gotten us into...
He stayed well clear of the door as the mutated form made its way in. Dominus wasn't hidden, besides the fact that he wasn't immediately visible upon the door opening. That would only give him a couple extra seconds at most, so he had to act fast.
From the way he's talking, there's no reasoning with him. Which means Dominus needs to fight, or he needs to run…well. He'll just have to hope no combat injures his brother trapped inside this twisted armor.
With a silent flick of a wrist, the crutch in his right hand shifted, transforming into a previously concealed rifle. Minimus might give him hell later for having secret weaponry onboard, but that was of no concern in the current moment. Minimus not knowing was an advantage right now, anyway. As soon as the gun was ready, Dominus wasted no time taking aim...
"You don't even try to pass as him, do you?"
...and opening fire.
There’s no denying it, it has to be him.
Magnus wasted no time, locks unlatching and clicking from his armor as they gave way, they’d space opening and with hiss and a him to reveal the smaller load bearer inside. He scrambles, fought against the wires that held him in the Magnus suit, he had to see him, to hold him, to know he was real.
“Dominus?!?!”
He'd know that voice anywhere.
The armor-clad turbofox had been reading from a datapad, catching himself up on some of the things he'd missed when he wasn't around. He'd already started to turn, the clash of fallen armor hitting the ground not going unnoticed, but the voice – his brother's voice – was what made him stand up and pay attention.
"Minimus...?" Dominus's voice isn't as strong as it used to be, but it's still undoubtedly his. "It's really you?"
biggest-ultra-mags:
Minimus had nodded, he was sure he could handle such a story, he'd been through so much in his many long cycles working on the Lost Light, all the terrible tragedies that had befallen him. But this..This was on a whole other level that he hadn't been truly prepared for. He listened as intently as he could, focused heavily on Dominus's words while his servos gripped at his shoulder bracers. Every single detail that spilled from his brother was like having a dagger stabbed straight through the spark; each gruesome detail, every secret that Dominus had kept from him for so long, spilling out into the open to a vulnerable Minimus. His vents hitched at the mention of the DJD, choking back the fear that threatened to well up in his spark. He'd just barely survived the DJD during their last encounter, and Dominus, oh sweet Dominus... "They didn't...Y-You.." Words spilled out but held no meaning, he'd been simply awestruck with the horror he was hearing. He'd managed to infiltrate the DJD, he'd lived with them and had been learning their secrets all the while, for so...So long. But of course in time someone had figured it out, and that...That was what truly shook the little lawmech.
"Dominus no--You--" It was coming together now. He'd been domesticated, a horrifying process that involved removing bits and pieces of a processor that, in turn, made the victim become feral, loosing their ability to speak, to change forms, Dominus had simply become nothing more that a mere..... Pet. The pet. Minimus collapsed in an instant with servos splayed across the cold, metal floor, letting out a distraught wail that echoed throughout the bowls of the Lost Light and back, filled with complete and utter devastation over the mere thought of what they'd done. All this time, he'd spent looking for Dominus, not a day had gone by that he didn't think of him or the journals he wrote to his brother, and all this time, after so long, the answer had been right there. He'd seen the pet, in face he'd nearly kicked the damn thing when he and the rest of the crew fought against the DJD, and the thought that he could have potentially killed his own brother had made his fuel pumps churn and his intake run dry. His processor flickered through memories of the feral beast that had lunged at him and onto Ten, how sick and truly depraved the DJD must have been to do that to his brother...This couldn't be, and yet...It was, and that scared him the most. The sobs came back at an even greater force, through fits of gagging the energon bile that threatened to spill, servos trying to clench at the metal ground below him. He wanted to scream, to cry, to understand how he could have been so stupid to not realize. He sobbed, struggling on his words all over again. Why was this so damn hard? "P-Primus D--Do-m....I'm s-so sorry--" He started, optics wide and vision mostly obscured in coolant, his vents hitched and tried to cool him down without success. "I saw you, I was th-ere.... This whole time...D-Dom this whole....Whole time....We were so close, I-I-I could have done something had I k-nown. You didn't....Deserve that, You never deserved a fate li-like that..."
---
As Minimus collapsed, Dominus almost went down with him, losing his balance when the shoulder he'd been holding onto for support was suddenly no longer there. That was the least of his worries, though. He wasn't sure if he'd ever seen his brother this anguished before...Minimus was hurting, and he needed to help. So, Dominus carefully made his way to the ground beside Minimus, and wrapped him in another comforting embrace.
"There's nothing that could have been done, whether you knew or not...it's a miracle I'm still alive and in as good shape as I...am...wait..."
Connections were being made in his processor, words and their meanings clicked into place...
"...'saw me'..? You...you mean..."
Dominus was suddenly flooded with guilt. Guilt, and worry, and pain, and fear. More so than he'd had over leaving so suddenly, far more so. Minimus had been face to face with the DJD. Which meant Dominus had attacked and attempted to kill his brother. He couldn't remember anything but faint blurs from his time domesticated, but that didn't change the fact that...he'd attacked Minimus. Pet or no Pet, he tried to kill him, as a part of the most terrifying and ruthless crew that existed. Suddenly, his vocals were far less steady, static edging into his words. He trembled as he held Minimus even closer.
"...I...I'm sorry you had to see us...them...I...I-I'm so sorry Minimus, I'm sorry that I-- a-and I didn't mean to-- I didn't know, I-- I-I can't...can't remember--"
they hate me because i'm silly and so intense at the same time
