What is Love? Society, Media, Movies, and Word of Mouth, tells us its a "spark" a "feeling" in the "gut" but after that all fades what is left? I for one don't believe we will be black white tall short etc in our next lives or once we leave this world and go into heaven, whatever heaven may mean for you. In this life which is like a movie we never get the script to, you must find your soul in another, find someone for whom their happiness is yours. This sacrifice, this altruistic behavior, will create the feeling of "Love" we all search for. Don't let the world tell you ladies that your goal is to be swept off your feet, to have a big wedding and live happily ever after, because once the cameras stop flashing itll be you and him. Men, stop looking for the baddest the finest, the sexiest, the one who will chase you, instead find the woman who loves you like a mother, laughs with you like a best-friend, and will fight for you and with you till the end. We must find comfort in solace, being fine alone, then you can truly add value to another persons life. Then When we find that person for whom we are willing to sacrifice, fight for, provide for, then you will find that the movie you never got the script to, is the best movie you've ever seen, because as long as they are starring in it with you, even the bad scenes feel like the best. It will not fit the cookie cutter you thought it always would, she may not have the perfect story, best attitude, greatest circumstances, but when you can look past the worlds view, and see whom this person is, and notice that they too want only for you to be safe, happy, and taken care of, you will find synergy, strength together being far greater than that of what you may have found alone. Live a life in search of peace, aim to spread joy to those around you expecting nothing in return, and you may find when you least expect it, someone who can add a light to your life you never thought possible.

Police Brutality

History repeats itself, in the days of old, slaves or freed slaves, or black men were killed, hung, beaten, just because, even up to the 60's and 70's all over and no justice was served.

Why? We are barbaric, we are "Big Bad Men" as the person in the helicopter said before Terrence Crutcher was shot, we have been painted as the boogie man, the scariest thing in the world, rapist, evil, stupid, ignorant, and more..... there are some of us who may be, but there are just as many if not more from any other race....

However, all to commonly we see someone shot and killed unarmed, when you can see a man shoot at the police and get hit with bean bags, but one with no weapon is shot in cold blood, he will not be able to get his car fixed, which was broken down, he will never hug his son again, how do you tell his son, what is the reason you give him, and expect him not to grow up full of hate....

I try to live my life in a way that sets an example to show what type of people MY PEOPLE truly are, but this gets old, it draws on you, if we saw women constantly raped and no judgement given, we would say we have a problem, if we saw people killing blonde haired blue eyed people and nothing happening it would be a problem, but all of a sudden we matter as less...

I guess we are still 3/5 of a man to you like you said in your original constitution.... well unapologetically fuck you if you hate me, you steal my culture, you love my music, you want to dance like me, you want to look like me tan your skin, put a needle in your lips, have I served my purpose, now that you have soaked up all my culture you want me dead? I tell you this, I will always comply with the laws, and be an upstanding citizen, but KNOW THIS if you come for me I will take more than one of you with me, and I have scores of people in this country and world who love me, try to take my life and there will be no rest.

Till then, I will call my young men I mentor, try to keep them motivated, I will stay in the hood, helping people make resumes teaching them what their school may not and I will continue to change the world, but to those who see my skin and decide they know me and that my life is worth less fuck you
