Ed gets a tattoo of Stede as a surprise for him. Well, Stede has to say that his tattoo self having a tail is definitely surprising.
Stede looks back to the tattoo, brow furrowing as he follows the newly drawn lines of his face, to his bare chest to— “Ed?”
“Mm?”
"Why do I have a tail?" He points at the rather admirable tail attached to tattoo-Stede’s torso.
“Because of that time you were a mermaid.”
