(I've decided to retire this blog and Nesia.)
(Nesia was created and developed as a way to write the effects of CSA and other kinds of abuse, and how a victim can feel trapped even when they escape. She came from a very sensitive part of me.)
(Thank you to those who showed interest in her story. While I never got to really expand on it, I really do appreciate those who wanted to listen.)
(This blog will remain up, but don't expect any updates or replies to threads. Thank you again for sticking with Nesia, even if her run was short lived.)
is there a name for this
hey op. i want you to know my boyfriend has been in hysterics, laughing and occasionally wheezing out "bibby" for the past half an hour because of this post. are you proud of what youve done?
Im the bf btw I made fanart
nesia is kinda like waterboy!
[WOW this blog has been dead. so sorry about that.]
[you'd be right! i've actually thought about it before, and if nesia existed within that worldbuilding. she'd be a sad case of a juvenile villain with water based powers, not sure what exactly. i considered something to do with rain/clouds or just straight up hydrokinesis...or its just waterboys power to the left. if they met i think itd be very funny but sad as hell. thanks for the ask!]
this girl was showing all the signs of being a secret mermaid so i pushed her into the pool and she turned into a forty foot long mosasaurus which is tbh way cooler
not really sure how to get her out though
for those of you asking why i pushed her into the pool in the first place: i work for a duplicitous small town aquarium and i'm trying to kidnap mermaids to jump through hoops and shit to entertain tourists and make money. fucking obviously. now that i know she's actually a mosasaurus though i Have fallen in pure-hearted love with her
(unfortunately i got into dispatch so now im sitting here considering a dispatch au for nesia somehow. because i love aus.)

I CAN BE THE BLUE TO UR OCEAN π
She rests her head against the rim of the tub. The teenager doesn't meet your eyes, only remaining quiet. Mulling over your sweet words.
Affection. She could recognize that. A bit loud..But earnest. The girl had grown accustomed to the persistent kind. A firm hug that made you squirm. A smothering grasp that left her clawing and picking at her skin.
Instead, she had been given a clever sentiment. The corners of her mouth curl upwards.
The drenched girl softly smiles. Yet her eyes remain shut, you can only guess to where her imagination is taking her.
"...That sounds nice. A nice dream..."
"...I'll keep you in my thoughts. I hope one day you can rest." -thedrenchedgirl
I am assuming, you're talking about.. him, aren't you?
The damage has been done, but I certainly appreciate the thought..
Squeaking boots and a soggy carpet made Agnessa's presence in the house. Haphazardly organized cutlery in the cabinets, rearranged glasses too. She called herself being "helpful." Luckily, there was a short break from her helping hands.
A small amount of steam escaped through the cracks of the bathrooms door. A daily shower, though not for hygiene. A few squeaks of the handle and the warm water promptly shut off.
The teenager pulled the curtain aside, wearily stepping out from the tub. Dripping wet, her vision was muddled and messy.
She could only sit on the floor, dutifully staying next to the bathtub. She seemed exhausted.
Everything was spinning. Her head began to throb.
Maybe a hot shower was a bad idea...
what grades did u get in school before this all started?
She sat up straighter at the mention of her studies. Her glassy, usually downcast eyes seemed to sparkle.
"They were good! Could have been better, of course... I-I remember my teacher...She was so strict. Gorgeous, though. My favorite subject was science! The experiments we did in class..." The girls tone seemed wistful, but fond, as the warm memories come back to her.
"You know, when I was younger, I hated sitting to read. Now? A good book is my friend."
