"Yeah, I know that feeling too. I'm Chuck and Chuck is me. I couldn't be anything or anybody else. Not willingly." He said with a slightly sad smile. "How have you been lately? Like, really been?"

Chuck smiled. âOkay there Dumbledore.â He then listened to her mention the name and gave a nod. âI too have had many names over the years but never again will I ever be Carver. Never. The brothers wouldnât be happy.â Plus the visions werenât as severe as they had been before. âItâs like betraying myselfâŚIâm Chuck Shirley and that is who I am. You know?â

Charlie smiled weakly, wiping her hands on her jeans once. âThanks, Chuck,â she said. âMeans a lot. I hope they would. TheyâŚ. They died way, way before I became a hunter. Way back in a different life. Charlie wasnât even my nameâŚâ
âItâs not best to dwell on the past, Charlie.â He said, smiling slightly as he placed a hand on her shoulder. âCharlie isnât your real name?â He asked, looking at her curiously. âI mean...youâve been around a lot of places. It wouldnât surprise me. It shouldnât surprise me...âÂ

"You did good...you did really good. Your parents would be really proud of you...just wish it wasn't such a bloody messy lifestyle..."
"I donât think you can be racist against an angelâŚI mean if you think I have a halo, then thatâs just bullshit." She laughed and gave a small shrug. "But I suppose if you wanted to find an angel you could look here. Well, maybe at a bar as wellâŚ"
Chuck blinked a few times before nodding. "Alright, I have seen everything now." He said, leaning back against the wood of the pew. "Not looking for angels...no ma'am." He laughed bitterly. "Not unless it's Castiel."
"Cersei is a good name." He said, "uniqueâŚthereâs nothing wrong with being curious justâŚa lot going on.." He sighed, awkwardly scratching the back of his neck. Of course he had to shout at her, of course. "I was expecting you to be differentâŚand Iâm sorry for my assumptionâŚand for yelling at you."Â
Cersei gave a little shrug and looked up at the sky for a moment. âThank you, Iâve always liked my nameâŚAnd itâs alright.â She smiled a little. âAssuming things is in your nature. But I am sorry if I donât meet your expectations, I have a bad habit of that.â
"You're not...not an...ass. You aren't trying to kill me, you don't want anything from me. I'm very glad you don't meet my expectations." Chuck said honestly.Â

"Kind of! I was at one point, you get it. Just stop, stop!"Â
Cersei stared at him awkwardly. âO-okayâŚâ She bit the inside of her cheek with furrowed brows. It was possible she had gone a little too far in her questions. âIâm sorryâŚIâm really sorry.â
Chuck cleared his throat and ran a hand through his hair. "I'm sorry...I just...a little overboard...lots of stress, no sleep...sorry. There's a lot of angelic activity lately and it's a bit distressing...so now that I've shouted my name at you..what's yours?"Â

"Chuck Shurley." He said, "What about you? Whatâs your name?" He sat up a bit straighter in the wooden pew.Â
She blinked a few times in surprise. âXaphamâŚâ She said with an awkward little smile. âAn angel actually, so I know a thing or two about you.â She smiled with a soft chuckle.
Chuck swallowed visibly. "Good, that uh...that's good I guess. If you wanted to find an angel, you would go to church...is that bad? Is that racist or something...?"Â
Chuck seemed to snap out of it, whatever it is, and looked at her. âYeah, I donât know. I affiliate with the Winchesters, if I can. Do you know that name? Sam and Dean WinchesterâŚâÂ
"I donât really talk to them, but I know enough about those two." She almost chuckled at that, what angel didnât know about the Winchesters? "But you, whatâs your name? You must be of some importanceâŚâ

"We can feed you later..come on." He said, making sure Leo was following him as he left the tiny room they were in.
âAlright,â Leo said quietly, following the prophet out of the room. He swallowed, his muscles tightening when he heard footsteps.
Chuck saw a window and opened it, looking down. Two stories up. He swallowed visibly when he heard the foot steps, looking at Leo. âIâm going to jump.â He decided. âThereâs a bush at the bottomâŚitâs either that or cut our way out of hereâŚâ
Leo looked down through the window. âI can do it,â he said softly. He wasnât entirely human, so therefore he was more durable. He grabbed the side of the window with one hand, pulling himself onto the sill. He glanced back at Chuck before looking down at the ground. He wasnât scared of heights. Finally, he leaped. The vampire boy was actually quite graceful as he plunged towards the ground. He landed with a quiet thud, his right ankle buckling slightly. It was that hard. He shifted to look back up at the window. âIâll catch you,â he said.
Chuck nodded and swallowed hard, hoping he could catch him. He trusted Leo but he also knew he wasn't light weighted. He jumped out of the window, eyes closed as he let the cool rush of air take over his senses.Â

Xapham sat in the empty church, she hadnât been to one in a couple of months. It was awkward as it ever was for her. The angel had her hands clasped together in order to pray. âItâs been a while FatherâŚOr do you prefer I call you God? Either one seems too formalâŚâ She spoke quietly, although she...
"Sorry...I uh..don't mind me.." Chuck said as he awkwardly walked in, sitting in the back pew. He knew he probably should have left but he didn't, frowning slightly as he seemed to space off a bit. He didn't come to church often but when he did, it was to try to recollect himself. A safe place, that's what he was told. A place to get away from the really bad things. Hollowed ground, really. He needed to hide for a while.Â
Chuck knew he was lying and just really hoped he didn't see the bad stuff. The long nights and drunken phone calls to Becky. Those were not some of his finer moments in life. "I can't answer that, Alex. I wouldn't if I knew anyways. Your father is good....just because he got lost doesn't mean he's a murderer. It means he was desperate and probably a little scared. He's paid his price. And at this point, all of us have blood on our hands. It stains and doesn't go away...I hope Cas will stop trying to wash his clean one day. And what you should know is that you have to stay true to yourself. Not only for you but Evelyn too. I've seen her grow up..don't break her heart or Dean Winchester will not hesitate to break your face."
